Or Fellaini, since Everton needed player to make an impact in defensive part of their game.

Robinho
It will be a lot harder for Berbatov to make a massive impact at United than it will be for Nobinho at City.

Berbatov
Robinho won't be a flop exactly but he'll certainly be a let-down. No way is he worth 32 million anyway.

Berbatov. He's the better player, in the better team, more suited to the league etc. etc. etc.

Berbatov easily.
He's got ronaldo, tevez and rooney to help him out for a start.
Think Utd will win the title again and possibly get to the CL final again.

Re: Robinho or Berbatov?
Berbatov has already proved himself in the Prem league, so clearly Berbs is the favourite for this one.
Robinho could well be a EPL flop for the sole reason that he is frankly a bit of a p*ssy. Tim Vickery makes a great point that apparently when Brazil played Argentina in the final of the Copa America, inwhich Robinho had a poor game, Dunga was seen mouthing to his assistant that "robinho looks scared".
Now imagine what he's going to be like on a wet Wednesday evening at Stoke,
or even in a Manchester Derby coming up against Nemanja "he's from serbia, he'll fookin' murder ya" Vidic.
Berbatov has done it all before, and is a big lad himself.
I think Robinho might struggle

Re: Robinho or Berbatov?
Robinho is undoubtedly a good player but he's not the complete article yet. As TRWP says, he's pretty inconsistent and I'm also unsure how he'll cope with the more physical aspects of the EPL. Hughes has to get his role within the team spot on or he could be completely effectiveless.
Berbatov is a top class player and he'll finally be playing for a team that matches his ability. I think he may get 20 goals in the EPL this season if he stays relatively fit. Fergie's always had a relatively keen eye for the right striker for the right system

He'll dive for the first few months whilst Hughes gets him to bulk up. Im doubtful about how well he'll do aswell, but you never know...he might do alright in this league he's got pace and good technique. I bet he'll torture alot of defences.

A comparison could be made with Juninho, who was so small that all I ever remember seeing on MOTD would be the ball seemingly moving on its own - but when I looked closer I'd actually see a little speck in the grass following it.
Well he could have been bullied to f*ck, but the thing about Juninho is he had enormous balls. I remember him squaring up to some giant centre half - Keown I think. It actually looked like Keown was standing there on his own talking to the air, but when I looked closer I'd actually see a little speck in the grass clearly irate and gesticulating.
Robinho doesnt strike me as someone with big balls.

I think he'll actually be a reasonable success against small $h!t teams, if he can adapt to the conditions...because he has quick feet, and is very creative. So his little tricks and moves will baffle opposition defenders. But the key is whether his teammates will be on the same page or not.
For other teams to shut him down, they need to be physical rather than organised. The guy has no strength, so just putting a fast man marker on him who goes shoulder to shoulder regularly, will be enough.

Can you imagine Robinho versus Joey Barton or Robbie Savage ?

Look how albert is laughing. I loved Juninho after that, what a little ballsy fella. he could play a bit too. God he could play.
Infact I always fond it amusing that someone as good as Juninho played on the same team as Phil Stamp.

It was in one of the match day programs whilst theywere both at the club. It was probably a joke comment but that was the headline on the page. Cant remember the rest of the article.

Re: Robinho or Berbatov?
Robinho will have more impact imho. He will be a more important player at Citeh than Berbs at Man U, and will either be a star or a flop. If he turns out well he could also be instrumental in attracting other star players.
Berbatov will probably score more goals though.

TRV will do well at utd, be hard for him not to do well if he can break into the team.
Robinho, well who knows. The guy seems a bit of a nutter, classic Brazilian ego monster and also he is very lightweight. He could be amazing or he could be the biggest waste of £30M since Shevvers.
