The biggest & most passionate club in the north-east outside of Middlesbrough have finally having stopped their win-loss-win-loss pattern to open the season. The Black Cats have showed their claws, bitch-slapping Man Utd on their own turf, being desperately unlucky to not come away with the win thanks to an O.G. & Red Card, and deflating Liverpool's record breaking 20th "this is our year" title charge in a row.
With Bent Darren fast becoming the modern day Dixie Dean and the shrewd Steve "Broken Nose" Bruce surrounding him with a cast of players that allows him to do the ONLY thing that he's good at, they are guaranteed at least one goal a match. Bruce has also wisely purchased the entire Hull City defence aka Michael Turner, and he's quickly at showing that he graduated at the top of the class that was under the tutelage of Slur Alex "Red Nose" Ferguson in the early 90's.
Add in the new Drogba that is Kenwyne Jones, and I just can't see past them.
