Only reason why I'm watching is because I need to pressure wash the driveway, and I want to delay it as long as possible.

It was really a disgraceful offer. But I hope there will be more of them, so I won't see neither Garreth Barry or James McCarthy in Everton shirt. And yes, I would prefer Barry (on loan).

Fey's guideline to transfers (life): If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much.

So basically everybody is overpriced unless he's Dutch.

£12 million for a 28 year old full back on a 2 year contract who's very good, but will never be the world's best, is not an insult. In the absence of competition for the player above £15million would be foolish.

Fellaini's price is on the low side, since he has some resale value, but the main reason Everton expect a lot for him is because of their initial outlay.

The sort of language used in that letter (if it's real) should be for the press or the pub, and the reference to a prior agreement suggests the club hierarchy saw Moyes's move as a chance to fleece ManU by padding the fees (which they need to collect someday) in the name of their dignity. They're just irritated things aren't working out.

It is also written in pretty bad English, so even if Jon Woods language skills are not the best you'd have thought at least the secretary would have fixed it.

Maybe Baines is not a world's best, but since 2009/2010 season he is consistently the best left back in Premier League. 12 million for this kind of player is an insult, especially 3 weeks earlier United already had 12 million bid rejected Grr

Transfermarkt puts Baines value at 22 million euros:
    http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/leighton-baines/profil/spieler_13507.html

And fellaini at 28 million euros:
    http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/marouane-fellaini/profil/spieler_39679.html

Is Moyes doing a Wenger? Pretending to bid to make it look like they are going for players, then not buying anyone or someone shit.

£12m for Baines is derisory. Everton should offer £12m for Rooney and see what Man Utd have to say.

And rightly so, because Dutch players are so underpriced these days!

Being Dutch is a seal of quality! Sometimes I wonder, if we Dutchies are the chosen ones.

I don't think £12m for Baines is a low amount, but seeing as they rejected the same bid earlier in the window offering it again is a bit retarded. Also only silly teams sell players at a fair value, why the fuck would you do that?
