We're playing poorly, and again, having Walcott up front means that no passes forward even get challenged for.

Equaliser from an own-goal from a free-kick. Defender stretching and toed it past Boruc. Koscielny was free behind him so he did need to go for it.

Get two new Center Backs problems fixed.

Very frustrating one. Usually we deserve to lose, but today we didn't, even with the suicidal Cisse on the wing tactic. It's gross negligence really, forcing a poacher to do defensive work when he should be around the last man, and giving the opposition almost free reign down that side.

Everton were shit though, physically very weak and not that good with the ball, I don't know how they are doing so well. Their first goal came from one of the incredibly weak freekicks the ref seemed happy to give them, and part of their gameplan was clearly to "win" those freekicks around our box. Their was a result of our suicidal formation.

Fellaini really is a salad tosser, just as bad as Bale or Suarez, or whoever else you want to mention, when it comes to diving. He barges, elbows, waves his hand in players faces when they're trying to tackle him, but he goes down when he feels someone near him. Embarassed Where's this guys pride?

Also we should have had a penalty at 1-0. I feel mugged. Atkinson reffed the Sunderland game which was incredibly one-sided aswell. Neutral

To be fair, some of the points you make are valid, even for a one eyed Geordie.

I get the impression Moyes is the Fergie lite, loves, playing the Govan gangster mind games. And Fellaini is truly one filthy c**t, hes arguably worse than Bale and Suarez given he committed GBH on shawcross along with the falling over.

Their win against us earlier this month was a smash n grab. Theyre good at that, can't be denied that when it comes down to sheer character, few clubs are better than Everton. Didnt think they were anything soecial today, but then this is becoming regular with them.

The red half looked decent today. Luis Suarez is finally getting the recognition he deserves.

Yes, I agree with Kimbo in thinking we didn't play too badly tonight, and were unfortunate to end the game without a point. We played too many long balls in the second half and the substitutions Pardew made were nonsensical - after going behind we took off our most dangerous attacking player on the night, and put on a defensive midfielder in his place, meaning that we lost all shape and attacking momentum until the opposite substitution was made fifteen minutes later, with just ten minutes of the game then remaining - but certainly in the first half I thought we passed the ball decently and showed good energy and commitment, and our defence was stronger than it has been even though we ultimately let Everton score an easy second goal. I thought Ameobi should have had a penalty at 1-0; and I didn't think the free-kick which led to Everton's equaliser was warranted.

I didn't expect Everton to irritate me quite as much as they did. I thought they were full of gamesmanship: Fellaini doing his strong man/soft man routine; Anichebe nearly as bad as Fellaini, and I thought he also tried to entice the referee into a second booking for Tiote by repeatedly scuffling with him at a corner; Baines whining lots; and the Everton players hounding Marveaux for supposedly diving, when Fellaini went down under no greater contact for the free-kick which led to Baines' goal. Still I think they are a good side and are so strong precisely because they have a number of facets to their play.

Our problems have persisted all season long, so that happily I'm no more concerned now about relegation than I was a couple of months ago - which is to say, I thought we looked like a club who'd end up battling relegation two months ago, and I'm just as concerned today. We ought to get rid of our manager, but that is an impossible notion given our ownership. We do need to sign at least three players in this transfer window to bolster a short squad critically weak in some areas: a right-back, presumably Debuchy; a centre-back; and a forward.

    Are you fucking serious ?

He did well against Spurs when they played almost the whole game with ten.

He scores a hat-trick v a Newcastle side with James Perch at CB and this should make me eat humble pie ?!

He scored a hat-trick for England then did fuck all for years.

He did score 1 from his 7 shots v Reading mind you and I think that equals henry's best ever ratio in a CL season so I can understand why some have been making comparisons Coffee

Walcott doesn't have the attributes to play CF - if teams defend deep against you he is fucked.

A lot of talk about Fergie last few days - the one thing I love about that c**t is his refusal to allow player power - if ever had a player walk into his office and demand that he play in a different position he would be out and would end up playing for a club like Arsenal.

    lol!

Why do u always do this to yourself Pierre?

Already forgotten what Torres put u through?

You could pick and choose the games all u like to suit your agenda, fact is, he's been very impressive for us this season to such an extent that even a 'hater' or huge scpetic like me can't do anything else but hold my hand up and say 'yes, I was wrong, he's actually developed into a very good footballer'. Why can't u do the same Pierre? You rather go through another Torres-like experience? Or the Henry experience when he came back last season and prove u wrong by showing that he could still cut it in the league after his legs are gone?

The fact that Henry was not clinical but still managed to scored as many goals as he did shows what a great footballer he was, he created chances for himself for fun. Now that he's lost that explosiveness he once had, he's now creating chances for others:

Henry is probably one of the most overrated players ever. Just look at his stats. That weird French bloke was right, he could only do it on a small pitch! And only against the lesser sides most of the times.

Didn't he also score a hat trick in Rome (V Roma), the San Siro (V Inter Milan) and the winner at the Bernabeu (V Madrid). Hardly lesser sides at that time, or at Highbury either.

Henry wasn't the greatest player to ever play in the EPL (as some would have you believe), however the most overrated player of all time he certainly wasn't. He was fucking good. RVP is better (but more injury prone). But definitely top 5 IMO

So we should write off all he's done in his career just because he's struggling at Chelsea? If so, should we do the same for your man 'Sheva'?

For all the comedy moments Torres has provided us at Chelsea, he has still looked a footballer, we can't say the same for Mr Andrei Shevchenko, can we?
