lol! Brenda knows fuck all about Liverpool's best XI. By accident he got a sniff of what Liverpool's best XI is when they played at Real Madrid. That was Liverpool's best game, that team was the way forward. Rodgers career is basically reaping the benefits of what Martínez built at Swansea and Suárez's performances at Liverpool. In my opinion, Rodgers is a midtable coach at best and he's dragged us down to his level. FFS!

I can't stand his ass anymore!

Just imagine what Rafa could do for Liverpool working with an owner like Mr. Henry.

Strange half really. Man Utd don't look good at all - has James Wilson touched the ball yet? - but been efficient.

Liverpool desperately need someone who can put the ball in the net.

We've actually been the much better team. United have been dreadful bar one moment where Coutinho couldn't be assed tracking Rooney and one blatant offside goal.

Game over though - think Brendan may be gone soon but I disagree that this is all his fault.

It was over when Suárez left. TFS!

Take a good look at Rodgers' career: reaped the benefits of what Martínez built at Swansea and then just saw Suárez's production at Liverpool. WAKE THE FUCK UP!

Rodgers' is NOT Liverpool material. He's a mid-table coach at best.

Nah - we were a few points off winning the title and destroyed teams on a monthly basis. That's not a fluke.

Suarez leaving was a blow but our signings were a disgrace - whether that's all down to Rodgers I don't know. Not having any striker we can trust is unacceptable.

Defensively it's an embarrassment - Rodgers hasn't sorted this out in 3 seasons.

Rodgers is a good coach, we need someone in the club who knows how to sign players and work on our defensive game.

Who can we bring in right now that will do any better with the players we have here? We need to spend 100 million on 2 or 3 world class players - until that happens there's no point moaning at the manager. Go out and buy a Di Maria or a Sanchez please owners.

It'll all look better when Sturridge returns.

But no getting away from his defensive failures

    Mignolet - £10m - utter shite
Sakho - £16m - ok but Brendan hates him
    Lovren - £20m - utter shite

Big money on terrible players and he shipped out Reina and Agger to accommodate these guys. Every shot against us seems to go in. United could barely string two passes together today and have two goals (not counting the ridiculous one)

Oh the irony. Rodgers all arrogant talked about van Gaal had better get used to struggle in the EPL and now the Dutchie destroyed him and very likely sealed his fate.

Doesn't Rodgers know that he reaped the benefits of Martínez's work at Swansea and Suárez's genius? I would scream that in his fucking face!!! TFS!

Newcastle hardly left their half in the 1st 25 minutes and it was not by choice. We harried and pressed them whenever they got the ball, and I think Welbeck's goal (to make it 2-0) should have stood which would have been the correct reflection of the performance of both teams at that point.

We couldn't sustain our pressing for the entire half and Newcastle nearly took advantage by creating very good chances towards the end of the half. We were clearly the better team in the 2nd half and our performance deserved the 3 goals we scored.

True, we didn't look top class defensively but that was to be expected, we had a RB at CB for the 1st time in his career and a rookie RB (who was impressive going forward btw), and Mertesacker playing on the left side of defence where he isn't comfortable.

Without doubt one of our best performances of the season.

We had a midfield of Colback and Tiote(I don't even count Gouffran), we were hardly going to control things in the middle.

Welbeck clipped Janmaat's heel, not on purpose, but it was a foul.

    Laughing Laughing Laughing

Here is a hint; sit back and read through your posts on this thread and laugh your head off. So much nonsense it's unbelievable.

Playing shit yet winning in the final few minutes is becoming a regular thing. Very unSpursy, given it has been the otherway round mostly in the last half decade.

Eriksen, Kane and Lloris the only players performing anywhere near an acceptable level this season. Walker being bacl was a big bonus.

Meanwhile Lamela fast becoming the most frustrating player to ever wear a Spurs shirt. Beyond awful today, Sqwuaka stats had him providing 0 key passes, 0 successful take ons, 0 tackles. Lost count of the number of attacking moves that ended at his feet. Chadli or Lennon has to start over him in the next game.

In comparison, Bony and Montero for Swansea were terrific, caused us numerous problems. To think they cost the equivalent of the airfare that we paid to bring Soldado (also completely ineffective today) and Lamela should cause Baldini and his scouts to hang their heads in shame.

Anyway, in 7th, above Liverpool and 3 points off 4th. Who'd have thunk it.

Fucking Spurs stealing the points in the last minute again...disgusting.
