    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Post international weekends always see sides frustrated by injury, lack of fitness and not enough preparation.

But obviously the big story is Klopp's first match in charge of the mighty reds. I think it's a game too soon - he wont have had much time with the full squad and Spurs are at home and confident at the minute so I think a draw would be a good result.

I expect Chelsea to get back to winning ways - Costa returns and Villa are the perfect team to play at home when you need a win usually.

Everton vs United should be a tough one for Van Gaal. United generally don't perform at Goodison but Everton were very weak when we played them and a better attacking side would have scored a few past them. Stones is back though.

Surely your lot have to beat Norwich Kimmy. If you aren't winning against that lot at home then it's time to crawl back to Pards.

We're going have Pards mate in goal, a man that makes me think I could've been a premier league player if only I'd been a keeper.

No Benteke, Ings, Firmino or Henderson and strong rumours that Sturridge may not be fit to start. Coutinho has been struggling with a knock as well this week.

Could see Origi start then. If we manage to win with half our first team injured then it will be the ultimate Spurrrs. Mind you even Balotelli looked good at Spurs last season.

Good point considering we have 4 key players missing.

Better pressing, more solid for parts at the back.

We were the better team up until the moment Guzan decided to gift Chelsea a goal. Horrible mistake.

Baba Rahman has been hilariously bad. been skinned about 3 times by Alan Hutton ffs.

It's hard to score when you have Sturridge, Benteke, Ings and Henderson missing.

That's like United without Rooney, Martial, Carrick and Mata.

Chelsea's entire game is based around Willian closing down like a madman the whole match and all their other players diving and fouling as much as the ref will allow them to get away with (which in matches like this is: absolutely as much as they want). Awful scummy club, from owner to manager to players to fans.

Liverpool will obviously whine about missing players. Probably won't hear them mention we were also missing Son, Dier, Mason, Bentelab. Not that it would've necessarily made a great difference, but definitely limited the options to change things up. Created a few decent chances but overall we were far too slow and lacked pace and decisiveness on the transition.

Props to the hashtag ex Ajax legends - Alderwiereld and Vertonghen were Boss as f**k. Kane can't find the the corners this season, all his shots going down the middle. Let us down today.

As for the Klopp revolution - obviously the narrative was all about them, how much the media were desperate to anoint the fucker as the 2nd coming. To be fair, Liverpool pressed and played very well first 20 and last 10. Players reinvigated and trying to impress. The ref was at it too it seems, how Milner stayed on the pitch was laughable. Repeated fouls, the one on Rose second half when already on a yellow epitomised how inept that ref today was. Clearly wanted to join the circle jerk.

Pretty sure it'll be between us and Liverpool for 5th as per. You can see potential in both sides, but ruthlessness is going to be the problem, too much inconsistency finishing chances. Unsurprising two of the youngest sides in the league, race is on to see which will realise first.

Not sure if this is serious.

Do you realise that Sturridge, Benteke, Ings, Henderson and Firmino is basically our whole point? You can't judge us holistically based on today - it's nonsense. If Milner should have gone then so should Lamela. Don't be daft.

We kept you at bay with our second string out (bar the defence) when you beat City 4-1 a couple of weeks back. That's a good start for Klopp IMO.

Meh - we'd have beaten them too if we had any sort of attacking quality at our disposal or we didn't leak goals for fun.
