    TOTTENHAM Empty TOTTENHAM

Post by Puro Wed Jan 24, 2007 9:58 pm

Just finished watching Betis 1-1 Barça, and lucky me was able to watch Baptista's goal when switching channels.

WTF! FFS! What was Robinson doing? Tottenham would be a very good team if they actually had a goalkeeper! Shocked <Ale>

    they are full of chokers.

always raise the hope of their supporters and end up choking when it matters.

    Jol choked tonight.

Should have stuck Mido on and actually kept hold of the ball.

Does make you wonder just how much better than every other English keeper Ben foster has to be before he becomes 1st choice for England.

probably I can't complain this guy still has a long way to go to prove himself. I'm listening to 606 and this Northampton guy is complaining about the youth system and says that Arsenal's isn't a traditional youth system

Foster and Carsson are just shot stoppers yet.

I would have James above Robinson - at least at the moment. Robinson has been an actual joke for a long time.

    Doh

He has the best handling of any English keeper.

Never seems to get caught out of position.

Kicking is average but still much better than other English keepers (not suprising as English keepers are shit at kicking).

Not the biggest but spot on apart from that.

    Jol is choking personified.

His biggest achievement in Holland was just not qualifying for the UEFA Cup

What happened last season? just not qualified for the CL

    I predict a lot more 'just not's

    Fits the Spuds perfectly.

Making a crap team subtop is 1 thing, make them top another thing.
