Ah, I see. That way you could have a supporting 3 (Morrison, Milner, Downing) behind a main striker, or go 3-5-2.

Fair enough, you should buy him then. He'd certainly fit in with the general plan at Middlebrough to try to get young and talented British players into the first team squad.

Yeah, thats what I really would like to see those 3 behind the Yak. Cant see it to be honest though, he will more than likely go to Villa and we'll keep buying people like Euell Sad

    Pot. Kettle. Black.

    I particularly liked
A Brazilian referee faces suspension on Tuesday after she awarded a goal that television pictures showed was scored by a ball boy. Pictures showed that after a Santacruzense player shot narrowly wide in the 89th minute, the boy collected the ball with his feet, took it back on to the pitch and tapped it across the line into the net.

That's even worse than managing to book the same player 3 times...

    Yes, only just.

Remember that story from a couple of years back where a philandering referee taking charge of a Brazilian league game went to send a player off and instead of pulling out the red card he accidentally pulled out some sexy underwear belonging to his mistress?

Apparently the players had so much trouble taking him seriously after that incident that the game had to be abandoned. Only in football...

Agree with Terry and Gullit if Saha can stay fit.

Good news about Redknapp as it gets him off sky and I wouldn't be overly surprised (although disappointed to see Fergie go) if Lippi gets the United job.

Why the f*** are Arsenal always involved in all our transfers? They are also supposedly involved in Abidal.

Ustari may well pick them because Lehmann isn't getting younger whereas Valdes has many years left. But Ustari and Messi's friendship cannot be ignored as a factor.

Hahahaha that's a bit harsh, that's not how I meant it. Abidal is pretty high profile and Arsenal may well need a left-back if Clichy doesn't do well. Plus Abidal is French, so it makes for a more substantial rumour when Arsenal are mentioned.

We weren't going to steal him, it was going to be a proper transfer.
