Pictures showed that after a Santacruzense player shot narrowly wide in the 89th minute, the boy collected the ball with his feet, took it back on to the pitch and tapped it across the line into the net.

Remember that story from a couple of years back where a philandering referee taking charge of a Brazilian league game went to send a player off and instead of pulling out the red card he accidentally pulled out some sexy underwear belonging to his mistress?

Apparently the players had so much trouble taking him seriously after that incident that the game had to be abandoned. Only in football...
