Starting midfield

So here they are

Liverpool

Riise, Gonzales, Zenden, Aurellio, Kewell, Sissoko, Mascherano,Alonso,Gerrard,Pennant and Garcia

or

Richardson, Giggs, Park, Scholes, Carrick, Fletcher, Ronaldo, Smith

Only United midfielder I'd want is Ronaldo. The rest range between average and total dross.

If we need someone to play a five yard pass but fuck all else then we'll put Riise in the centre. He can also fill the important role of "ginger cunt everyone loves to loathe". Tackles like a cunt aswell...

The similarities are endless.

on paper you would think Liverpool have the better midfield. in the summer Liverpool signed Aurelio, Pennant and now have Mascherano.

Man Utd only signed Carrick in the summer, who is overrated. Giggs and Scholes are over the hill. Ronaldo has no end product.

but Man Utd are top of the Prem and the midfield has scored 36 goals this season.

last season Liverpool's midfield was diffinately better than Man Utd's but last season the Man Utd midfield was:

Ronaldo - O'Shea - Giggs - Park.

Back-up:

Fletcher - Smith - Richardson.

next season Liverpools midfield could be better than Man Utds if SAF doesn't sign any good midfield players.
