    Goals by Stein Huysegems and terrific volley by Dirk Kuijt.

    Feyenoord dominated a poor Boro. Boro had one great chance to score, but was saved by keeper Henk Timmer, and youngster Hofs failed to score three times on an open goal. Doh Doh Doh
    Even I wanted to slap the kid - those were the worst shots on open goals I've seen in a while.

    thought arsenal were flattered by the result, although i do think boro could really struggle this season, perhaps McClaren did a better job than many have given him credit for

    we have problems.

    No denying that....but I always was worried with Gareth in charge. I told you Mac did better than alot of you seemed to understand.

    This made you think, do you reckon the papers were linking Boro to Kuyt only because they were playing Feyenoord?
