Hopefully you manage to stay up and make him a permanent signing. Tevez seems to enjoy playing for you lot.

He loves it which is a good thing. He won The Hammer Of The Year award yesterday voted by our fans. Hi voting percentage was something ridiculously high. But it was deserved and it was great seeing him with a smile on his face with the trophy.

He seems to have a genuine feeling for us too...everytime we win or score you can see what it means to him.

If we are relegated and he goes It will be an emotional time, but I'm sure he'll get the loudest cheer in the stadium whenever he returns to play at Upton Park for any club.

Tevez just lacks the guile and x-factor - he'll never be a top player Wink

I still don't see what's so outrageous in saying ANelka is more skilful than Tevez. He actually is! Anelka is the most talented French forward of his generation, more talented than Henry.

More talented than Henry how exactly? It seems so easy to forget just how good Henry has been for the past 5 seasons before this season. Anelka hasn't even come close

Talented. Henry made the most of what he had, Anelka still hasn't and probably never will. But everyone at Clairefontaine will tell you that Anelka was the best.

And he fucked it all up.

Laughing It amazes me how Henry gets bashed so much...I'm sure he's proven his ability, being consistent with it over about 4 seasons Doh

Tevez and Anelka shared the pitch the other week...He was the star of the show...Anelka was only noticed when his name was read out at the start...

But Anelka's never show anything like the ability that Henry has shown on occasions.

Anelka may have been better than Henry was at the age of 16 but players mature - Henry matured and got better and Anelka didn't -ergo, Henry is the more talented

We all know that Flying. ok

Apparently Thierry Henry, Nicolas Anelka and Jeremie Aliadiere are the three most talented attackers to graduate for the Clairfontaine Academy, all Gunners at some stage.

Only one has fulfilled his talent the rest have not lived up to it.

By talent I mean what you were born with. Just seeing Anelka with us now, you've got to think what a waste. He's so good, that the rest of the team (granted, 8 of them are hoofers), Diouf excepted, don't even come close to being as skilful as him. For France, recently he's been our top striker. And he could have been so much more, if it wasn't for his cuntish brothers. Why is it a sin to envisage that he's more skilful than Tevez?

And Deano, one game means f@ck all. What did Tevez do at the Reebok? (I think he played. I realise I'm going to look stupid if he didn't) Exactly.

Its not so much a sin. Grantd you joined the discussion late and are talking about a player that plays for your club and comes from your nation so there's likely to be a degree of bias.

Having watched both players though, its clear to me that Tevez is more skillful. In fact, if he stays in the EPL next season, I could see him coming out at the end of it being regarded as one of the best 5 players in the EPL - the guy just ooses class - its no slur on Anelka, but Tevez IMO could go on to be a great world class player

    ok

    That is SO true.

If Anelka had stayed at Arsenal, a couple of years younger, he'd have developed into a better player than Henry is now.

I really think it's about even between him and Carlitos for natural ability, but Tevez does have more to his game in his ability to pick a pass.

Anelka is to France what Robbie Fowler is to England, a story of "What could've been." Ale
