Dictionary.com 'Argument- a discussion involving differing points of view. '

Any statement I make contributing to a discussion is therefore an argument.

I have argued for Henry without using stats. If you want more detail, I consider him an amazing player for his striking of the ball, control, vision, speed and strength.

    @ saints

I was still reading the first section when I replied - how was I supposed to know that you'd have asked those exact questions in the second part.

How many goals in international tournaments?

Well, 4 at the 98 WC, 5 at the Euro 00 comp, then 0 at the WC 02, 2 at the EC04 and 3 at the WC 06.

So in major tournaments thats 14.

Its not even worth mentioning though, does Klose's record make him the world's best player in the modern game? I think not.

You have to take account of everything - league, CL, Internationals.

    Re your second point,

You've just fucking asked me to provide statistics to try and prove YOUR arguement. Talk about hypocrisy! I won't stop using the league statistics until you stop using the goals in knockout tournament statistics

Henry is an excellent player due to his ability to use both a combination of both speed and technique. Whilst this labels some short sighted (metaphorically) obese people to believe that Henry is nothing more than a pace merchant, this merely stems from their own ability to move or never having seen Djibril Cisse move. An example of this is his goal against Real Madrid.
Whilst it is not a technically brilliant goal, Cisse could never score a goal like that due to the quick change of direction needed and the ability to understand where the ball needs to go in order to evade a tackle.

I don't accept the dictionary's authority on this matter.

Any statement I make contributing to a discussion is therefore an argument.

No, it's a contribution to an argument. You know full well what I meant, don't give me this Cr@p...

I have argued for Henry without using stats. If you want more detail, I consider him an amazing player for his striking of the ball, control, vision, speed and strength.

That's more like it. But I'm still not convinced. Feel free to outline your 'argument' in more detail.
