Middlesboro more attacking than Spurs!! Now i've heard it all
I only like Boro cos ginger boy Cooper supports them and he's quite funny, but watching them at times recently (other than last yr in the UEFA cup) has been like watching a wet turd dry.
Ok, that was a bit misleading. I genuinely support Boro, hence the capitals, and I do know that they are not the most attacking side of the league. But they are an honest club with a good academy, real fans and the absolutely great habit to beat the big clubs on a regular basis, especially at home. And they have the best nickname ever, Smoggies!
I like Arsenal and United because I believe them to be the most attacking sides in a rather defensive ("pragmatic") league, but that's not "real" support like in Boro's case. I have a soft spot for Spurs actually, due to their great history of German players, but I didn't want to mention them because
a) that would have made you cocky
b) they have a Dutchie in charge
c) your fans ridicule Stalteri on a regular basis, although he is a cult player and legend here!
Boro's Academy and use of young players is very admirable. But you overrate their fans- other than the big games, the Riverside is notorious for rows and rows of empty seats and lack of atmosphere, especially against the minnows in European competition. Cant blame the Smogcopters from staying at home though, it can get pretty chilly what with the wind coming in off the north sea and up the river ;-)

Yeah, there are some teams I don't mind, and while that list keeps changing, some names have stuck for a while...
Fiorentina, Liverpool, Marseille, Bayern, Napoli, Atletico, Tenerife,
Recent interest includes Sporting, Sevilla, West Ham, and (possibly for next season) Manchester City... so these might join that list too

I may start to like Inter after all
