I take it you haven't got the full gist of the Bosman rule?

I also love it how you blame Terry for Ballack's failure. Lampard you have a case for, they do after all take up similar positions on the pitch, but how on earth is Terry to blame for Ballack's poor performances? lol!

actually, I mostly blame Mourinho for his ridiculous tactics and system that completely neutralised Ballack

    +

I blame Lampard and Terry, the true rulers of the dressing room

Ballack himself said his main problem was , he still "had no standing in the team"

ie , the players deliberately cut him out, treat him like a novice who has to earn his spurs

Lampard obviously tries to compete, but Terry is part of the gang

Pizarro just confirmed this , saying Terry even came up to him to effectively tell him very clearly who was the boss in the team

the whole operation stinks to high heaven

the Terry - Flumps salary negotiations are part of this pecking-order-I've-got-the biggest-dick-thinking

    @ballack

    leave now

Ballack's a big lad. No way should Terry and Lampard be able to take his lunch money.

    what do you mean "evidence"

Ballack has repeatedly said he did not have any standing in the dressing room yet

    in the German press

old stuff; google it and you'll find it

the Pizarro quote is from one of today's English papers

I had a quick flick through a lot of them at a Cafe today

could have been the Mail on Sunday

    as for the tactics:

blut has explained you the details already (Flumps with no discipline...)

add ZERO support by the full-backs (Ballack yearned back to the days of Lahm and Sagnol)

    +

no midfielders crossing inwards either (with guys like Flumps and Robben being way too selfish)

    =

Ballack was like a fish on Fifth Avenue

lots of traffic zooming past but no worm in sight

well, actually that analogy does not work for a host of reasons but you know what I mean

Ballack must go to Real Madrid. Something happened to him, there's no chemistry having to play with Lampard.

We'll see how Pizarro handles them two overrated fuckos. Perhaps them two fuckos won't make a big fuzz about Claudio because he's making less money than those pieces of shite. So in their eyes, Pizarro's not a threat, yet. Ballack was never welcomed because he was getting paid lots more money just like Sheva.

If Ballack had actually said this, he'd be out by now. As it happens, Mourinho is intent on keeping him, and there have been no rumours coming from the Bridge about any unrest between any players (I don't believe the German press any more than I do the English press).

As for the tactics, if we'd stayed with 4-3-3, Ballack wouldn't have got into the team. We changed to 4-4-2 purely for his (and Sheva's) inclusion.

Biggrin Lampard fucks England up. Flumps fucks Chelsea up hindering their progress in CL. He's good in BPL (albeit Jose caters to him). Sidwell is lots better in my opinion.

He made himself available to any team when Chelsea stopped negotiations, but no team jumped to sign him let alone pay the relatively cheap amount £9 million for him. lol!

Well I'm glad you've cleared this one up puro. You see here at Chelsea we're not bothered about who's playing poorly and who's playing well, we're only worried about what the players earn.

Fact is, Terry was yet again one of our best players (although outshone by Carvalho last season), while Lampard picked up 20 goals. I don't particularly like Lampard, but on last season's performances it's unbelievable that Ballack was earning more than him, and unbelievable (borderline disgraceful) that Sheva was the highest earning player.

Never mind the Premiership, he is one of the best in Europe.

He had his injury problems last year, something that alot of people have already forgotten. A fully fit JT and Carvalho is a World Class partnership.

The difference is...If Terry has a poor game...we say he was poor. If
    England play poor...we say it.

If Germany or Klose or Solano play poor...we either hear excuse after excuse or simply hear that they were indeed great.

Podolski is one of the shittest strikers around and yet Otto would f@ck 10oz of $h!t out of him.

No, you just don't get it Hammer. Terry enjoys that "protection", I believe some posters even gave it a name. Terry is SHITE relatively speaking next to the elite central defenders. Gallas, Carvalho just to name two, are so much better CB's.

I remember the media saying "Chelsea miss Terry" last season. NO THEY DIDN'T. Chelsea missed Cech, AND Mourinho made a huge mistake playing Essien as RB leaving Makélelé all alone as stop plug in DM duties.

Jose realized his blunder and moved Essien back to midfield with Makélelé. Moving Essien back to midfield gave Chelsea a chance. It wasn't Terry at all. <Ale>

It's Terry's fault that Ballack showed no effort on the pitch at times. That's why the fans started to get on his back; Terry found out who was going to the game, phoned us all up and told us to heckle Ballack if he started to show no effort again.

By the way, I'd better add the fact that Terry did this on Lampard's say-so.

I do want him, because I honestly believe he will have a much better 2nd season.

But it's when I hear $h!t such as "Ballack was hard done by", "It's not Ballack's fault that he showed such little effort and commitment at times, it's Terry and Lampard's fault for ganging up on him" etc that I feel pissed off.

I think many fans were also annoyed by Ballack over the operation thing. As he could still play without the operation, he was told to wait til the end of the season (only 4-5 games) and then have an operation, like Terry and Sheva (and Lampard the season before). Instead, he did what he wanted to do and had the operation, whilst still reeling in £19,000 a day in wages. If I were part of the CFC board, I'd have cancelled his wages until the end of the season, but they stuck by him, despite feeling betrayed.

If he has another poor season, then good, let him f@ck off. Fact is, only Michael Ballack can be blamed for Ballack's poor season by his standards.

<Ale> That's the one thing I didn't like about Ballack, having the operation. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and play especially when you're making all that money.

You have to understand German mentality though, they won't play unless they're 100% healthy. If they're not healthy, they'd rather have someone else take their place in the team. I'm not saying they're quitters, they just believe if there's someone 100% healthey, they'd rather have that player play instead. Ale

interesting article about Ballack and the importance of "sponsorship deals" to his club choices

    it's always Adidas, CocaCola...-clubs

surely, his global exposure would be FAR BIGGER at Real though

therefore, unless he is tied to Chelsea by the likes of Samsung, a move would be rather canny

    http://www.sportbild.de/sportbild/generated/article/fussball/2007/07/27/6729400000.html

it could boil down to his family not wanting to move yet again

I know that was the reason for Lehmann staying even when he wanted to leave

Fair enough, but imo that does make them quitters. They're happy for someone else to finish off the job they played a part of. At Chelsea that attitude just isn't allowed (as you'll have noticed watching our games last season). If Ballack shows that attitude again this season, you just know that Mourinho'll kick his arse out the door, which may benefit all people. Ballack gets an escape and Chelsea get a profit on a player who maybe just wasn't cut out for the Premiership. Ale

You blame him for his injury? WTF? He proved that your inept doctors made a mistake, and that the injury could have cost him the career, yet you still blame him for it?

I know it's unrealistic, but the more I hear about it, the more I want him to leave Chelsea ASAP. And this will hopefuly be a warning example for other (high profile) German players interested in moving to the EPL in future.

    Sleep

No sensible Chelsea fan desperately wants rid of him. He's been OK, scored a few crucial goals and his wage isn't even that important since he was on a free. It's ridiculous to blame his problems on Lampard though. Ballack got given the preferential position at the top of the diamond and Lampard got shunted out to the side. Sure Lampard isn't the best at this, but Ballack managed to have far too small an impact in a lot of games considering his class, experience and the fact he was playing in such an influential position.

We have no problem with German players, we liked Huth just fine.

    Sometimes
I reckon the player himself has to take some of the blame for having a Cr@p season...crazy idea I know.

Jesus christ, are you people retarded or something?! I just said that I'm not blaming him for his injury, I'm blaming him for his attitude. Ballack was told by our doctors and a German specialist that he could see out the rest of the season, but must have the operation soon after.

Anyway, even if the injury had to be cured that moment, he still did not inform the club until after the operation. If I did something of the equivalent at my office, without telling my bosses, I'd be sacked with immediate effect.

As for the German players, I guess with your 'endless supply of talent' it's gonna be hard to keep them away from the Prem.

First of all, nobody said that others / tactics are solely to blame for his poor / average / whatever season, but they definitely are part of the problem. This is not an excuse, this is facts based on countless observations. Of course Ballack has to blame himself foremost (actually, he should blame himself for moving there in first place), when did Ballack himself ever complain about others anyway? He actually blamed himself for not being able to show his full potential yet.

It's funny that you guys seriously deny that there is a problem in the Chelsea midfield with having two similar players (Lampard & Ballack) standing on each others toes, yet none of you will question the fact that this is one of the main reasons why England hasn't really performed in ages also (Lampard & Gerrard in this case).

Oh that's just such a load of rubbish.

Well, it's not. Your own doc admitted his mistake.
