Have Lyon signed Miralem Pjanic for next season?

Not yet, but they are closed to do it.

    Thanks Napoléon.

I assume that Ederson will move in the summer as well. Who do you think he will replace? Lyon will be overloaded with midfielders soon.

I don't know. Maybe Kallstrom and Crosas.

Benzema scores inside 25 seconds to give Lyon the lead.

And Fred makes it 0-2. Looks like the title is staying with Lyon.

AMAZING NIGHT!! Must have been 40 odd goals. Marseille win third spot having beaten Strasbourg 4-3. Nasri and Cissé may have played their last games for the club.

Lens go down despite having drawn 2-2 with Bordeaux. Pitch invasions ensue.

Lyon champions with a 3-1 win.

St-Étienne secure their UEFA Cup spot with a 4-0 win against Monaco.

Where do you think Cisse will end up?

I remember Bolton being linked with him after selling Anelka.

Somewhere more prestigious than Bolton I think. I can see City moving for him if they have a massive clearout.

Glad to see PSG beat the drop, for me they are one of the sleeping giants in Europe at the moment, I still remember them competiting for the big European prizes.

Hopefully Le Guen is given time to build a good team to challenge in the future. I still rate him as a manager despite that stint at Rangers.

Tons of goals, all stadiums completely full. The league 1 should only last a day. I'm pleased Marseille won and Nancy lost, Marseille need to play the champions league. It's weird that for the last 15 years, Marseille and P.S.G never really compete against each other. One year, Marseille is disappointing and another year it's P.S.G.

The league 1 would be better if Lyon, Marseille, P.S.G, Monaco and Bordeaux all compete against each other. The problem is that Monaco and P.S.G, with the players they have are likely to compete for the relegation spot.

When you look at the teams they had during the 90's (Bernard Lama, Alain Roche, Ricardo Gomes, Valdo, David Ginola, George Weah, Raí and Youri Djorkaeff for P.S.G) and now it's a pure joke..

As for Monaco, if they had kept there most important players the team would look like that GK-Evra, Thuram, Riise , Sagnol, Maicon, Guily, Yaya Touré, Rothen, Trezeguet, Henry, Adebayor.

The new owner Pastor is not investing at all, therefore they are so mediocre. During the good times, the prince of Monaco, the prince Albert used the cash generated from the casinos to offer super interesting contract, tax free. Hence, players like Weah, Anderson, Djorkael, Bierhof, Petit, Klinsman, Scifo to name a few, played there.
