Worst piece of summer business (sale or purchase) BouazzaGoal1_468x368

    Nice one Aidy! Rolling Eyes

an initial £3m rising to £4m Grr

Leighton Baines is £6m, Beattie is £4m - how can Bouazza be £3m or £4m?

22 years old, lightning quick, unbelievably strong, sweet left foot, good 1st touch and we sell for £3m ?!

Was Young really 3 times better ?

And now we get this Cr@p...

Watford's Boothroyd fires parting shot at Bouazza

Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd today fired a parting shot at Hameur Bouazza by claiming Fulham's new signing was not worth a place in his team.

Bouazza joined the Premier League club this week in a deal which could rise to £4million after making it clear earlier in the summer that he wanted to leave Vicarage Road.

Bouazza, 22, signed a four-year deal at Fulham - but Boothroyd believes the Algeria international forward has made a mistake in leaving the Hornets.

'Hameur wouldn't necessarily have been a starter,' said Boothroyd. 'If everyone had been fit, [Tommy] Smith and [Jobi] McAnuff would have started.

'We had a player who I didn't think was anywhere near ready to move. He should have stayed a little bit longer, to grow and develop.

'But the lure of the Premier League, and the money to be made by all concerned, is a heavy burden sometimes.'

    Absolute bullshit !

I agree, Bravo is a legend. Always outshining Zidane when they shared a side. The fee for him and Pepe should have been the other way around.

Raul Bravo wanted to move to a bigger club, we couldn't stand in his way.

Besides now that Zidane's gone he can make another play look world class Wink

Pepe has looked solid in pre season, very good defender but not £20M. And the idiot is wearing the no.3 Doh

Probably....might have been a bit of an attraction for Mozza aswell. First team football(i assume) and playing for a Boro legend. Really hope he does well for you, there are few fans who were ok with letting him go. Most are dismayed.
