That's not the problem. We were doing pretty damn well in the first half with playing attacking football. In the second half, the match has slowed down considerably, due to Bayern playing defensively and waiting for counters, a smart strategy in this situation. And then we gifted you a goal after a corner for us, so very fucking typical.

Werder Bremen vs. Bayern München 0:4 FT

Well deserved win Lederhosen, congrats. Can't see anyone challenging you this season now, maybe, only maybe, Schalke.

We will have our hands full qualifying for Europe even, forget about the championship. Awful start of the season, probably could not have been worse.

As predicted Dortmund finshed the match with 10 men. Kruska sent off (2YCs). Schalke much better than Dortmund, who were very poor. Doll only made things worse.

Without having seen Bayern this season, I don't think Schalke have a chance to mount a serious challenge. They're a bit like Spurs, they've too many just not good enough players.

Anyway don't foget to watch the highlights!

Bad luck blut and chrissi. That can't have been easy viewing. Bayern look so strong at the moment, it is going to be tough stopping them this season. At the moment it looks like Schalke are the only team who could do so, with Stuttgart and Bremen already five points off the pace and suffering from injuries.

I expected us losing today, that's not it. And I was actually positively surprised about the first half. But the second half clearly showed that absolutely nothing is right in this team. I can accept losing, as long everyone tries to do their best preventing it. But after the 0:2, we just stopped playing football.

Forget the schoolboy mistakes, forget the awful defending, but that's just unacceptable, absolutely disgusting. How the hell do the players want to justify that to the fans, getting humiliated in their own stadium like that?

The worst 'fans' are those who still try to gloss it over in the Werder forum now. f@ck it, I know why I don't write there.

Hitzlsperger's goal was good today. A fine strike from distance. It looked to me like Hertha Berlin got a little fortunate with their equalising penalty. Although the picture quality wasn't very good, it looked like a clear dive which conned the referee. The other two Hertha goals were well taken though.
