    HT Bayer v 1. FC Koeln 0-0

Bayer have been very poor; Koeln are better, but haven't created clear cut chances & the linesman stick his glaf up when he shouldn't when Novakovic would have had a great chance to score (would have been 1v1). Other than that a knockwurst thrown from the Cologne end which hit a Bayer player were the highlights of the first half.

Daum >>>> Labbadia, he owns him tonight.

And the ref gives a penalty after a dive... 2-0

Koeln haven't had any luck with ref & linesmen (few bad calls against them). Hoeln deserved more from this match. Tactically they were superior, just didn't score.

1st Bayer goal was from a corner just after HT, Rolfes headed it back well to Friedrich, who headed it in very well. Apart from that Bayer offered little. Kiessling & Helmes were hardly reached & if they got a half chance they wasted it. Best striker in the world Helmes was subbed off after 78 minutes.

Koeln will not relegate for sure.

Hmm, I think it was a penalty, but at least it was no dive.

All in all Vizekusen didn´t shine tonight, but they have won again, scored two goals keeping a clean sheet and they top the Bundesliga table now at least until Sunday.

Who knows, maybe they qualify for the CL this season.

What? Looked like he dived into him before their was any contact. What did they say on tv (was watching Polish stream)? Just read Kicker says it was a clear penalty. Still doubt that, want to see it again.

Haven't got a clue how high Vizekusen can/will finish. Guess I watched them on the wrong night. Despite the result Koeln impressed me more.

The fraggle from Premiere also said it was a clear penalty. Maybe I can find a highlights video with a slow motion later. Then we can judge again... Wink

Leverkusen now have an impressive goal difference of +11 btw.

    Didn't impress me yesterday.

According to kicker's (Germany's main football magazine) player ratings he hasn't been that good so far. Player ratings of Bayer players this season (from 1 to 6; 1 = top 6 = Cr@p; you can also check out other clubs using the dropdown-listboxes or ratings in each match by clicking the player's name).:

Bayer v 1. FC Koeln highlights:

    http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/1697460/

On the penalty call, it would have been a penalty too if he wouldn't have dived into him, but imo it's very clear he dives into him.

Same kind of game to Fiorentina, where Bayern's opponents get loads of chances but just can't finished. And oddly, the ref has just given Wolfsburg a penalty when their player clearly dived.

    0-1 to the away team.

And now suddenly 2-0 after a superb move from Wolfsburg...one touch passes galore, great cross into the box, and the striker gets in front of the defender (Lucio, poor play) and finishes easily past Rensing.

We're extra terrible after CL nights. Klinsmann, why are you playing the exact team that finished the game against Fiorentina three days ago?

Wolfsburg have a game plan, Magath knows exactly what he's doing. Funny that they're the ones playing vertical one-touch football.

And, boy, is our defense $h!t.

3-2 to Bayern now...ball is bouncing their way, if you get what I mean. Attack wise, they do deserve it though.
