Nah, there is NO chance of that happening... Roma-Juve is a bitter rivalry, if they get a free penalty, they will gladly take it.
And DP never had problems scoring so many dodgy penalties Juve won over the years...

Obviously he didn't miss it intentionally.
Tiago should be playing. Ranieri got this wrong.

Ibra levels it again with a penalty
2-2
(that was Loviso with a penalty who had given livorno the momentary lead)

True, very true to all bluenine. Which is exactly why I'm asking about the wink? Perhaps Del Piero (a mature man now) tired of all the bullshit from the past (dodgy PK's and all), with a wink to Totti, said it all.
It's still anyone's game. Juve aren't out of it.

I think his wink might have been more about "bad luck, mate, you were unlucky"... but I have no doubt that he will not miss one deliberately.
I know that DP has a deep respect / admiration for Totti, he has mentioned that several times...
Must admit, young Palladino is playing well since he came on for DP... looking very lively.

Re: Serie A - The 2007-08 season thread
Iaquinta was the best juve player today, and that was a beautiful header... roma must be kicking themselves to get sloppy aftre playing such a good game... thats nice.
Roma are in form, Inter in terrible form, and we are still only 2 points behind.... when the tables turn, then the fun will begin.
It does worry me tho that we dropped points at bottom team Livorno. We could have joined Roma at the top of the table, and we missed our chance. Never mind, we will see them at Olympico next weekend and take care of that!!

Atalanta, Napoli and Udinese all had great starts to the season. Whilst i really worry about Lazio, they just look poor. They shouldnt have let Foggia go on loan to Cagliari, it was stupid move and God knows why Rocchi was left on the bench today.

Re: Serie A - The 2007-08 season thread
After the disappointment has passed, I am starting to get quite pissed at the team... aparently Inter missed loads of chances in the first half... so why the FCUK was Crespo not playing?? He is by far the best finisher in our squad, and by not playing him we are just losing the plot!!
That said, I hear that Adriano had a decent game - he looks to be getting better and better with every game. That can only be a good thing.
If we win the next two games by next sunday, all will be forgiven!! Sampdoria this wed, followed by Roma on sunday at the olympico - that is a 6 pointer!! And we will have Crespo fully fit, and Vieira back

Re: Serie A - The 2007-08 season thread
Juventus defender Jorge Andrade could be out for around six months after a suspected snapped knee ligament.
The Portuguese player went off during this afternoon’s 2-2 draw at Roma in the Stadio Olimpico and the initial diagnosis is not encouraging.
“I fear Andrade has broken the knee ligament in his left leg,” explained Coach Claudio Ranieri.
“It is an injury he has already had in the past. His studs got caught in the turf and his leg snapped back. He is heartbroken.”
Former Porto man Andrade had only signed for the Bianconeri in the summer, but if he is to be sidelined for a number of months, it leaves Juve with precious few defensive options.
Jonathan Zebina is sitting out a four-match ban for slapping a cameraman in Cagliari, while Domenico Criscito again showed his lack of experience today when he contributed to both Roma’s goals.
Juventus have had bad luck with injuries of late, as Mauro Camoranesi was also ruled out for six weeks with a serious thigh strain.

Its worth noting that Giuseppe 'not as good as Pelle, Palladino or Pazzini' Rossi scored two goals today, so basically he's outscoring the other three put together. Nice work bluey
