this isn't about Crouch, or Liverpool (we have 5 fit strikers thanks for asking) all I'm saying is Martins is all good, but teams will just defend deeper and then what will you do?

IMO Carew is poor, worse than Crouch and i'm not even a Crouch fan.
And like i said before, Ventspils didn't come to win, most teams this season will play to win which will leave more space at the back.
