Though Im Irish and a rule of being Irish is to claim 'Shay Given as world class', he is not and Casillas is well better than him

Unless Shay has something lined up in January already...

Sorry but that is one of the dumbest things I've read in a while. Casillas is among the top 3 goalies in the world. At age 18, he had already benched a world class goalie (Canizares) playing for the best club in the world and kept a clean sheet in a champions league final. No need to go through the rest of his accomplishments. Given is a nobody compared to Casillas.

People just seem to love ignoring Casillas' mistakes, its laughable at times..he made a few big mistakes from games I remember last season and they seemed to be glossed over. I cant be doing with the argument that "he plays behind such a bad defence" argument either. As whenever this argument is used for Given its dismissed. Maybe Casillas is a bit better, but not that much better.

Nothing's changed there then.
That's Given, not Hart btw. Hart is a godsend.
