Henry being a flop in Italy was often used against him, and a reason Sheva was a superior striker. But now Sheva is in England, and despite playing on a small pitch against the Wigan's and Fulham's has been absolute pants. Mainly aimed at pierre and agooner

Gotta be Sheva, peak of his career, experienced, accomplished as opposed to Cheerwee who was as green as they come when he was at Yuwe.

Wouldn't say he's at the peak of his career - He was 30 when he moved here, while Henry was about 21 when he was in Italy.
I'd say Sheva - but only just.

Peak imo is 28 - 32.
I don't know how you can say Sheva only just, almost all the factors are for Sheva bar that they were both played out of position.

Henry - 16 games/3 goals
Sheva - 51 games/14 goals
I think it's quite clear that Sheva has been the bigger flop, but the gap isn't as big as some may think.

Well it sort of is because henry was only beginning his career while shevchenko was supposed to be one of the world's best players. Only henry could get so much stick for what he did in italy at such a young age. It is pure and utter agenda driven nonsense

It's not just the goal stats, its everything else. Sheva has played at the highest levels, and accomplished far more before his move, same can't be said of Henry at that time.
Sheva already had the exerience of adapting to a new country and playing at a big club, Henry didn't.
Sheva already had the experience of playing in a league at a simillar level to the EPL, Henry moving from Monaco to Juve is a more significant step up than from Milan to Chelsea.
As I mentioned ealier, the only level they were simillar on in their respective moves is that they were both not played in their best positions.

I think Shevchenko got four league goals last season. I'm not sure how many games he played, I'd guess around 30. I think Henry got all of his Juve goals in the league.

...and yet he still outperformed Henry in the KO phases of the CL last season -some things never change !
Shevchenko is finished physically which is one mitigating factor.
You need skill to play up front in Italy and physical qualities to play up front in England - hence they both flopped.

shevvers easy, henry played as a left midfield for juve in many games and didn't really get a chance, bet his first 15 games for arsenal were not amazing either. Shever can hardly run or trap the ball now, to be honest it makes me a bit sad as he was a legend: time for Qutar now or USa with becks. free transfer.

There's no doubt Sheva's been the bigger flop but you can argue that Sheva is past his best, while Henry was at an early stage of his 'peak years' (i.e. no longer a 'kid' but not the finished article).
Also, if you argue that Henry was played as a winger, that arguably makes him a bigger flop, considering he only got 2 assists in his time at Juve.

was a far bigger flop than henry in Italy.
@ Pierre
did he also lack the skills to play upfront in Italy?
