Well i guess he deserved a standing ovation Rolling Eyes

Interesting week though, Feyenoord capitalizing on other bad results, a super Alves(will he go in December?)and Sparta with another good result, they almost won it though.

Your league is everything but boring dutchies Razz

    Eredivisie is mental Biggrin

He deserved indeed a standing ovation, he totally redeemed himself!! Even after the disgrace comments he made about the Heerenveen supporters,

He will leave in the winter for sure...poor AZ..they almost had him!! Noway they can afford him now. Im sure he can go to a real big club in the winter.

Did someone see if the Heerenveen supporters gave him a standing ovation? I mean he accused them for being Nazi's and he accused the Heerenveen board for being slave traders...

    Dunno. Must be.

Van Hanegem still holds the fatsest hattrick record with 6 minutes.

7 is a record. Van Basten (think v FC Dordrecht/DS'79) had 6 once, maybe a few others.

Best high goal in a match (taking opposition into account) achievement still is Hans Venneker's 5 v Ajax in 1964 (Feyenoord won that match 9-4), 4 years beforehand Henk Shcouten had scored 4 v Ajax in a 9-5 win.

He'll go to a CL club I think. If there was any kind of suggestion that CL clubs didn't want him yet, then I'd hope we go for him. But his goal record is too good for most clubs to say no. Milan should go for him.

If he had played in an Ajax shirt he already was worth more than 30 million pounds...

But clubs don't want to pay a lot for a player in an Heerenveen shirt...

Not geriatric enough for Milan. Maybe he can get a fake pass saying he's 34-ish

This is where someone like Portsmouth will always get a bargain. Curbishley hardly ever looks abroad. People like Redknapp do. Therefore some lucky team will benefit by signing him. He's obviously good enough to play for a team in the CL. You can't have a goal record like his and score 7 in 1 game and not have teams after him.

AZ offered 16 and got no, Heerenveen wants 18 for him. They had some great strikers in the past. RVN, Tomasson, Huntelaar, Alves

His attitude isn't good then by the looks of things. In a way, you can understand him wanting to move to a bigger club...but he shouldn't react like he has done. I suppoe if anything it will harm his chances if clubs see his attitude is poor.

Could be. They could also like Heerenveen mainly blame his dubious agents/managers & get the best out of him. Problem if you sign him you'll be stuck with him being advised by those people. Seems they kind of own him. As you are aware of, strange things are happening in the transfer market especially when it comes to South American players
