UEFA euro 2008 qualfication

There hasn’t been posted anything on the Euro 2008 yet on these boards, especialy since the qualifications started a week ago – with one particularly shocking result!.

Anyhow I’ll start with the qualification groups.

Belgium! Has their qualification campaign ended before it began!?
In a group with Finland, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, you need to take advantage and get at least three points of the Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan-minnows if not massive goal differences.

Don’t draw against the minnows!!!!!!

It is a pity Belgium is not ready yet....

But with Kompany, Vermaelen, Van Buyten, Dembele, Defour there is a lot of talent!

With Goor and Simons you would expect some more from them.... But then... they don't have a class striker and the play makers are ALL very young!

Any idea whether the Italy game tomorrow is being shown live anywhere???

im watching this game and it is actually really really good.... both teams playing great in attack.. NI shocking mistakes defensively for the three goals... eidur ripping them apart

yep.. we are getting hammered by iceland.... decent game... gillespe and davis playing well but eidur is just too damn good... costly defensive fcukups and bad misses.... 3-0 is a bit of an unfair scoreline so far though

thats the problem with smaller nations playing iceland....as they have 1 world class player!
