Anybody think Kuyt should have been off for that kamikaze tackle he attempted? I realise that he was fouled right before, but that could really have injured the Evertion player...

the other you can argue was outside the box but hibbert ripped gerrard's shirt and stopped him from scoring
the first everton pen claim is total nonsense. it was a typical penalty box incident that happens every week
the second everton pen was stonewall but happened a full minute after the ref should have blown his whistle
ignore all the bullshit... this is the proper account of what happened
I wasn't aware that a goal = more injury time
Am i wrong ??
Neville's penalty give away would have costed more time. Therefore the time it took to make the decision and get the penalty sorted needed to be added. This is what Debaser is on about.

Well maybe we have to get the laws out
I always thought injury time was for subs and injuries... not things like goals or cards
If he was right to add the extra time on then we got lucky because it was a definite pen
If he was wrong then justice was done anyway

Everton have been cheated. THEY deserved to win
Everton defended all second half!
stupid silly gooner, go and win a european cup mate!
Try playing football that people actually want to watch rather than hoof-it anti-football Cr@p
Don't like it? don't watch it, simple.
I don't. Gonna have problems filling your new 60,000 seater stadium if you continue to produce the tripe you're playing at the moment though
Why? there's already around 50,000 on the waiting list alone!!
haha f@ck off you idiot you got owned!
Where? You can't pwn me if you don't source evidence
How the f@ck could I give evidence for that? we could fill 60,000 twice over!!
Yeh, right you could. There probably aren't even 120,000 Liverpool fans in Liverpool!

He's a complete joke.
Rafa saying they deserved the win is funnier though.
of course we did
we had BY FAR the best chances
Yeah , when Everton were down to 10 men. Should have scored from them , Dirk Kuyts penalties saved Rafa's ass.
But they deserved to be down to ten men so what is your point ???
I couldnt see how Liverpool were going to score before the penalty , also when Everton were down to 10 men (deserved) Voronin couldn't even hit a barn door with a banjo.
I agree.. but we had a brilliant chance to score before hibbert dragged gerrard down
benitez got it wrong on so many levels today but he was also hindered by not having torres or alonso who if they had been fit would have ensured a comfortable win
he fucked up bigtime by taking gerrard off and keeping the hapless sissoko on but thankfully he got away with it and we can now go to besiktas and play a full strength team with alonso and torres probably back
Liverpool should have won 'comfortably' without Alonso + Torres , no doubt.

BTW Deco's got nothing on Gerrard.. dive outside the box and then talking to the ref afterwards to get the poor Everton player sent off.. English sportsmanship

I thought he did...but I only saw it once. I'd have to see it for the 2nd time. The persuasive talking to the ref was a certainty though.

Who cares though? we won end of story! 5 wins and 4 draws, not ideal but much better than previous seasons, hopefully this will give us confidence going into the arsenal game, we always do well against Arse at home, and I'm going! cant wait

He had just been dragged down while through on goal. Of course he was going to be angry
It was a definite foul but the only decision the ref had to make was whether it was a pen or free kick. similar to the rooney incident when palyers are going at full speed it is hard for the ref. I would be gutted if it happened the other way round but can easily see why he gave a pen
