My answer without doubt Elano. Sven pulled off bargain of the season for 8m. Too bad he is Brazilian... otherwise he would be first choice for any other national team in the world.

Well coming to a team like Arsenal and becoming first choice within couple of games. I don't recollect him even putting a foot wrong.
