Manolo Jiménez is prob a good appointment, he got sevilla atletico promoted from segunda b last season and they have started the season v well. he prob knows the club workings well enough and reckon he'll do a good job.

It doesn't matter who takes over at sevilla. The succes of the team has very little to do with the competence of the coach imo.

i wouldn't quite go that far but i take your point, its as much to do with what goes on further up the chain too, and in youth dev and scouting which aren't the coaches responsibility, its a similar model and situation to lyon. it's the main reason that i have reservation about ramos at spurs, there's no doubt he is a good coach, but???
