Me wanting Zenit and CSKA. Both play good entertaining football, counter attacking football but good counter moves.

I know nothing Amkar and Rubin or whatever they are called.

Been a long time since I watched the Russian league.

Zenit had a very bad start to the season, floundering around in midtable for quite a while. Reasons:

1. For the first few games of the league they sacrificed domestic games to concentrate on the UEFA Cup.

2. They had more players than most other clubs come back tired after Euro 2008.

3. The Arshavin transfer saga disrupted his own form and caused a media circus as well around the club.

And he scored again, this time finishing off the through ball and beating defender with his pace, before chipping the ball over a keeper. He also hit the post a few minutes ago. Great overall performance by him

Oooops, and he did it again. This time with his left foot finishing 1 on 1 situation with a keeper. Vagner Love 3 - Rubin Kazan 0.

Some notes from the game:
1) Rubin didn't play their top squad and for most of the game they were defending their asses.
2) Dzagoev was on the pitch, but was anonymous for majority of the game. Zhirkow was quality and he scored a 4th goal for his team.
3) Polish announcer said that Savo Milosevic decided to officially finish his career, despites Rubin's management offering him deal for another year.
4) Rebrov played like $h!t and Akinfeev barely touched the ball.
5) Vagner Love to Everton... ooops, we have needs in different areas. But he's still a quality poacher
For Real, he would make a good attacking pair with Higuain IMHO.

Wagner Love scored 4 on Monday too - he is far better than the fans of the Brazilian national team on here make him out to be.

Would be good for a Fiorentina (linked before) and Everton a Spurs or to give Villarreal that explosiveness they miss.

Quality player, orginally was desperate for us to sign before we signed Riera and saw him play.

WHAT? Milosevic said in an interview with 442 a few months ago he wanted to carry on for another year or two and still thought he could do a job for Rubin
