villa have been pressing us, denying us space to play, they've been very good in the 2nd half.

We haven't got going in this half and Villa are really pressing for an equaliser. We're conceding too many freekicks in dangerous areas and can't keep possession of the ball. It's going to be a tough second half without Hleb.

Villa better team in second half so far. Without Hleb we are looking much weaker now.

Immediate tactical reply by O'Neill, Arsenal have 8 defenders on so Vila bring on an attacking midfielder for a full back.

If Mikel should have gone off then some West Ham players should have gone off before him. Cynical approach to the game from West Ham. This is everything that is wrong with English football. They've been sliding in from the outset and have been determined to lower the standard of the game.

That's a ridiculous thing to say. What did you expect us to go there and do? we took an approach to a hard game for us...which could've got us a point, maybe even 3 if we put in a good chance. To moan that a team are not letting Chelsea have it their way is pathetic.

don't think he's past his best, he's the same player as last season imo. the problem with gilberto as i have always said he isn't a ball winner, isn't creative nor dynamic, so it fucks up the team's balance if he's played alongside another midfield who doesn't win the ball. Flamini isn't world class or anything but he wins the ball and is more dynamic and is the better passer. This allows us to pass the ball at a faster pace and counter attack when we win the ball. Everyone is focussed on henry's departure as the main reason we are playing well, but Gilberto was the main problem in the team. All wenger's succesfull teams of the past had a ball winner, the only time he played without one( ie the last 2 years) we stopped being title contenders.
