...and the slagging off of T*ttenham.

Don't know where our little scouser friend is, so I'll start the thread. Smile

    Weekend Fixtures:

    Everton v Fulham, 19:30
    Man City v Charlton, 17:15

    Arsenal v West Ham, 15:00
    Blackburn v Aston Villa, 15:00
    Chelsea v Tottenham, 12:45
    Middlesbro' v Watford, 15:00
    Portsmouth v Man Utd, 17:15
    Reading v Liverpool, 15:00
    Sheff Utd v Newcastle, 15:00
    Wigan v Bolton, 15:00

A relegation battle between City and Charlton. City need a win to basically keep them all but safe, while Charlton could get out of the relegation zone...

Arsenal and West Ham in a London derby. Arsenal need to keep Bolton off their tails while West Ham need to keep picking up points in our bid for safety..always a cracker.

Chelsea play the scum in another good match. Chelsea need to catch United while Sp*rs aim for 5th!

Boro,Wigan and Sheff Utd all at home as they aim for vital safety points. while Liverpool and United are on the road as they bid for the title and Liverpool for 2nd place. Blackburn host Villa in a mid-table clash..though Villa in relegation danger. Everton chase 5th spot as they host Fulham who also need more points to avoid the drop!

Roeder will fuck up his team selection again, fuck up the tactics again, and send the team out undermotivated again. It will be a shit match that will end either 1-0 to Sheffield, 0-0, or 1-1. <Ale>

I'd be pleased. Anything other than a defeat is a bonus. We just need to keep picking up points.

Without Van Persie,Henry and Eboue? If we are going to take something from you it will be when you are without key players. Though hasn't stopped us the last 4 times Wink

He's really starting to annoy me, not only is he incompetant he's got a big mouth. Every morning i wake up to him spewing bullshit in the media.

Also he said after the Citeh game that the fans expect too much! WTF??? If you can't handle expectation get the fuck out of Newcastle, go and manage a club that is content with midtable every year! And it's not too much to expect to beat a shit Citeh team that is beloew us in the table!

Roeder is someone who seems to think failing is fine..as long as it's classed as him doing his best and if he has done something decent before.

When we sacked him all he ever went on about was he got us to finish 7th. We had done that before and higher. I think you need someone who can get the best out of your better players. Players like Duff and Onyewu are performing badly, and I would put a fair bit of blame on his management.

If Arsenal are beaten by West Ham theirs a possibility a race for fourth might develop against all odds. I'd be shocked if it happen, but given their striking crisis and there inability to score from midfield it may be possible.

Confidence is a key. After our last 3 matches we have it back and are playing better. Of course Arsenal away is an uphill task BUT it's possible for us to at least take a point.

I've got to be honest, I'm not at all confident about the game tomorrow. I can see you getting a draw and maybe even a win. At the moment you just don't know what to expect from Arsenal, but it will definitely be a hard-fought game.

    Think so too.

We have been shite recently & desperately lack real finishers; Gilberto is the only midfielder, who scores, Ade is not topclass (yet, probably never will be).

My prediction 1-2. If we wouldn't need the points as bad as you, I wouldn't mind you guys winning. Still happy with what you did to Spuds last season & hope West Ham stay up.

I have to say carson has impressed almost everytime i have seen him. i was very impressed today with his ball distribution; most keepers usually just hoof it forward but he passes it well to his team mates, short or long.

    @ pool fans

why was he sent on loan? was he considered not good enough to be a no.2 or was it for him to gain experience?

That takes Charlton out of the relegation zone I think. Although they have played more games than Sheffield United. Not entirely sure though because I think both clubs have the same goal difference.

I'd be rooting for u against all other teams though, hope u stay up because u are one of the few epl teams that play good football.

Fulham score! Bocanegra with a free header from a corner. Everton have played the better football so far but have been caught out because of poor defending.

    Everton 0-1 Fulham

Edit: Carsley equalises minutes later. Poor marking again as Carsley prodded a low cross into the corner of the net.

    Everton 1-1 Fulham

    Everton 2-1 Fulham

Stubbs scores with a close-range header from a freekick. Everton have been the better team, but the defending in this game hasn't been particularly good.

Anichebe makes it 4-1 to Everton. They've passed the ball around well today and have played some decent football. Scoreline is a bit harsh on Fulham, they've had a few chances in the second half.

They're up to fifth on goal difference having played a game more than Bolton. It's beginning to get close for the European places, and if Arsenal aren't careful they could get dragged into it as well. We ought to be fine but Everton and Spurs seem to be coming into form.

Very unfair on Spurs that they have to play us at 12:45 having barely finished their match in Spain. Nevertheless, time for JT to keep Dimitar Berbatov in his pocket for 90 mins, following on from keeping David Villa out in the previous match Wink

Lampard & Carvalho to score. 2-0 Chels.

Oh and United to drop points at Pompey <Ale>
