    @ barca fans

Surely Iniesta should be ahead of xavi in the pecking order, shouldn't he?

Even if xavi regains his form i would still play iniesta ahead of him because he( iniesta) scores more, is more penetrative and far more dynamic. Imo Deco and xavi should fight it out for a place in midfield.

    ok

I want arsenal to buy him, wanted to post that on the arsenal board. Hargreaves is not better than him but they are basically the same type of players; they can play both play as holding and box to box midfilders.

well i look at it two different ways.

Inietsa at the moment is our best midfielder and should derserves to be starting in place of Xavi, but when Xavi fines is form i think Xavi should start for the simple fact that Iniesta woudld give us more coming of the bench than Xavi.

But i think iniesta would be more usefull to the team than xavi for the reasons stated above.

and thats the reason why i believe he would give us more coming off the bench the Xavi. but at the moment i believe the iniesta, deco combo is best fo r the team

Besides, its alot easier for Rijkaard to sit Xavi and not Deco. Xavi will sit on the bench and not bitch, not sure Deco would do that ...

Behave. Frings has never come across the UNIT.

Until he has, Torsten is thoroughly untested.

So just 1 game to go in the group with the table looking like this:

    1. Chelsea 10
    2. Werder Bremen 10
    3. Barcelona 8
    4. Levski Sofia 0

So Chelsea are already through, whilst Levski cannot even get a UEFA Cup spot. 3 points will guarantee Chelsea win the group, whatever the result in the other match. With all due respect, I think Chelsea will win very comfortably and, even without Terry, shouldn't concede.

The other match is much tougher. A Werder win or a draw is enough for Werder to qualify, although I think Barca will probably just have too much for them, being at home. Whatever happens in that game, I think Werder will feel very proud, as most people (including myself to be honest) didn't expect them to get anything against either Chelsea or Barcelona.

So a pre-final to the CL final is on the cards on Dec. 5th. It'll be grossly unfair on whoever goes out (hopefully not us!) because Bremen are much better on current form than all the other 2nd place teams, and even some 1st place teams.

Fortunately for us, we did enough in our first 3 games to qualify.

I said right at the beginning, that if Chelsea get 7-9 points from the first 3 games (bear in mind we had Werder Bremen and Barcelona at home with Levski away - which to be fair, was just like an extra home game), we would qualify.

I believe taking even 1/6 point(s) from the Barcelona-Werder Bremen back-to-back away games was an achievement too.

I've got tickets to go watch Chelsea-Levski next week. If I hadn't, I think I probably would've watched Bremen-Barca on the tele.

I am very annoyed that Chelsea managed to equalise, but apart from that I don't think we can blame anybody but ourselves.. The team is only starting to get into gear, and that is simply too late considering the strength of the group.

Of course missing 2 out of 3 of our attackers doesn't help either..

Funny how everyone always said Mourinho is doing the wrong thing by playing him in midfield, but when he comes to us and hasn't quite settled as a striker, suddenly he was an attacking midfielder after all, and we were stupid to sign him.
