i forgot seitaradis myself, one defender, and he's sh¡te anyway.

He was European Champion though... other than Maniche how many at Atletico can say that? (Perhaps Abbiatti)

I disagree with Tweeds regarding Everton - for me they remain dark horses in this competition and the most likely English team to go the distance.

Lets not forget that they beat AK alkmaar in Holland -first team to do so EVER, with a weakened side against a team desperate to win.

If Evertyon can remain injury free, I think they have a great chance.

    Bayern still hot favourites,

    Bremen aswell,

    German contingent is strong.

Followed by the Iberian Armada - Atletico, Getafe, Sporting Lisbon

I'd have Spurs alongside Fiorentina, however the longer the Magic Juande can cast it's spell, the better our chances. He's the man to sort out this team, hopefully reinforce in February and at home in White Hart Lane, we shouldnt fear anyone.

    So
    1. Bayern
    2. Bremen
    3. Sporting
    4. Atletico
    5. Everton
    6. Getafe
    7. Spurs/Fiorentina

Talentwise they have it. I just worry about the lack of experience that Moyes has in Europe though. Their attempts three seasons ago were a complete disaster, especially the UEFA cup.

The team that they have though is more than capable, on their day, of going all the way. If bolton can draw in Bayern then Everton are more than capable of winning there!

I still rate Spurs' chances above theirs though. It may be spurs only way back into the competition

You really need to fix your eyes, or keyboard. Where's Benfica on your list.

By that rationalé, Oldham would be favourites.

To be fair, the pressure on Bayern to win this competition is massive.

Yes, its "only" the UEFA cup, but squad and first team wise, they SHOULD be on another level to every other side in the competition.

    Its a terrible position to be in, because even if they win the thing, it won't be deemed a major achievement by their own and everyone else's standards when discussing a team the size of Bayern;

however the team that potentially gets the scalp of Bayern- well there go all the riches and bragging points - it will be heralded a major victory.

As a Spurs supporter, I desperately hope to get Munich in this competition, because they are probably the only side in it that can gain so much from, and lose so little too. Just look at Bolton - a mere draw against them and suddenly the kudos going there way was massive. Just look at Tweedle salivating at that achievement even to date <Ale>

This is true, but I have always said that if the players want to play for a club like Bayern and be considered favourites for a lot of competitions, then they need to be able to handle that and step up. Earn their wages!!!

It was a great save but Henry really should have scored. Remember Keown's miss? What was he doing there anyway? If anyone else in the team was in that position we would have a Uefa Cup in our cabinet. <Ale>
