I was sad when George Best died, I was sad when Antonio Puerta died Honestly, I have never felt as sad as this.

Tommy Burns embodies what football and life is about, joy, fun and happiness. Thats how this game makes me feel. Yes there is sadness at times, but in the end if you can move past the dissapointment and there lies human beings.

At Rugby Park on Saturday I will write my mesage on my shirt in tribute to a man who gave everything to football. I realise this may not mean anything to supporters of larger clubs but in perspective he changed my teams life. To all supporters your messages of support are fantastic.

To the Quiet Earth cheers for your kind message everyone in Scottish Football is mourning today.

It is not often people can cross the Rangers/Celtic divide. Now is not the time but I hope Walter Smith and Alex McLeish think deeply of Tommy Burns tonight. Whenever his country came calling he answered without a doubt. A credit to the foundation football was built upon.

To a true legend : Tommy Burns

You will never be forgtten by myself and Kilmarnock fans across the world.

Nice post, Monty. You've expressed some lovely and considerate sentiments there.

If Celtic win against Dundee Utd this Thursday they will win the league. Rangers would then need to score about 8 or 9 against St Mirren. That isn't going to happen.

Well done, Gordon Strachan. Their attitude has been great lately. They could have conceded the title to Rangers a while ago, but they dug in and got the results that they needed to stay in contention.

    Celtic SPL Champion 2007/2008

Gordon Strachan = 3 in a row. Even MoN couldn't do that and Rangers were, arguably, poorer then.

Scott Brown's twenty-one year old sister died of cancer the other day.

To lose any member of your family is obviously very sad, but to lose your sister at the tender age of 21 is anguishing. I hope he can somehow find solace from his pain.

I hope this isn't crass, but I think this explains a lot about his debut season at Celtic.

I erroneously described him as a runner, but as Calidad pointed out his game is multifaceted: he's skilful and athletic.

McGeady signed a new 5 year deal with Celtic yesterday. It now makes him of their best paid players.

I wonder if he'll ever leave Celtic?
