AZ spant een spoedarbitrage bij de KNVB aan tegen SC Heerenveen. De Alkmaarders willen dat de Friese club onmiddellijk de overschrijvingsformulieren van de Braziliaanse spits tekent, zodat Alves zo snel mogelijk voor AZ kan spelen.

'Alves is gewoon van AZ', zegt Klaas Wilting, woordvoerder van de Alkmaarders. 'We hebben getekende contracten en bewijzen.'

Eind december zette Alves zelf al zijn handtekening onder een contract met AZ, begin januari tekenden ook Henk Hoekstra en Yme Kuiper namens Heerenveen een contract, waarin beide clubs overeenstemming bereikten over de overgang van Alves.

Die papieren heeft Voetbal International vandaag ingezien in Alkmaar. Nadat alle partijen hadden getekend weigerde Heerenveen ineens de overgangsformulieren te ondertekenen. AZ heeft Heerenveen tot vrijdag twaalf uur de tijd gegeven dat alsnog te doen.

Nu dat niet is gebeurt wacht de clubs dus een spoedarbitrage. Die zal begin volgende week dienen in Zeist.

Met vertrouwen wacht SC Heerenveen de arbitragezaak af. De Friese club geeft een extra draai aan de soap rond Afonso Alves. 'Hij wil niet naar AZ.'

AZ heeft bij de KNVB een spoedarbitragezaak aangevraagd om SC Heerenveen te dwingen het overschrijvingfomulier getekend en wel naar Zeist te sturen. De Alkmaarse club zegt over een overeenkomst te beschikken, waaronder de handtekening van zowel SC Heerenveen als Alves staat.

De Friese club bestrijdt haar signatuur niet. 'Er was een overeenkomst met AZ, maar eentje met een opschortende voorwaarde. Daarom is de overeenkomst nooit rechtsgeldig geworden', zegt directeur Yme Kuiper op de Heerenveen-website.

'De voorwaarde was dat Heerenveen en Alves het voor 5 januari het schriftelijk eens moesten zijn over de beëindiging van het contract', legt Kuiper uit. 'Dit had vooral te maken met het aandeel van de transfer waar Alves recht op had. Die schriftelijke overeenkomst is er niet gekomen en dus is het contract tussen Heerenveen en AZ komen te vervallen.'

Volgens Kuiper wil Alves helemaal niet naar Alkmaar verkassen. Bovendien bestrijdt de Braziliaan dat hij rond is met AZ. 'Alves zegt geen contract met AZ te hebben. Hij heeft dit ook schriftelijk aan AZ laten weten. Alves heeft laten weten dat hij niet naar AZ wil. Als AZ claimt een contract met Alves te hebben, dan moeten zij tot overeenstemming met Alves komen. Pas dan zijn wij aan de beurt. Wij kunnen niet voor Alves beslissen dat hij naar Alkmaar moet.'

SC Heerenveen vindt zich geen partij meer. 'Het is vreemd dat AZ afgelopen weekend nog liet weten dat de komst van Alves nog lang niet zeker was, terwijl ze nu wel claimen een overeenkomst met Alves en Heerenveen te hebben. Wij kunnen dit niet rijmen en wachten rustig af.'


Translation :

Heerenveen agrees there was a deal, a *conditional* deal : Heerenveen and Alves had to come to terms about ending their contract before January fifth (had to do with what Alves' cut from the transfer fee would be and the sucker got greedy).

Alves doesn't want to go to AZ, denies he has a deal with them...

Heerenveen takes the stance that only when Alves and AZ are in agreement they will once again become involved, before that they ignore all AZ's pleas

They did remark however that they thought it strange that AZ made a statement last weekend that they were not sure whether Alves would come and now all of a sudden seem dead sure that they already had a deal....

Nope... the soap keeps going on.
Noone knows if he'll end up at AZ or his contract has been broken to sign with somone else.

What is sure is that he's leaving Heerenveen one way or another this winter.

Tuncay is good..but I wouldnt have said he was an out an out striker after seeing him over the last few months. Hard working...quite creative and does get the odd goal. I'd like Alves playing alongside him instead of Aliadiere..who, for all the effort, just cant put the ball in the back of the net. Is a shame, cos he's really trying hard for us.

AZ en Afonso Alves staan niet in Zeist tegenover elkaar om hun zaak te bepleiten. De door de Braziliaanse spits aangespannen arbitragezaak gaat (voorlopig) niet door.

Op verzoek van de Braziliaanse spits is de arbitragezaak verdaagd. AZ wil geen verdere mededelingen doen over het hoe en waarom. Alves zou echter in gesprek zijn met de Alkmaarse club om alsnog uit te komen in Noord-Holland.

Alves had een arbitragezaak aangespannen tegen AZ, om duidelijkheid te krijgen over de rechtsgeldigheid van zijn vermeende contract met de Alkmaarse club. De Braziliaan bestrijdt dat er sprake is van een geldig contract, omdat zijn advocaat er niet in is gekend.

AZ verloor de eerste van twee arbitragezaken rond Afonso Alves. De arbitragecommissie van de KNVB stelde SC Heerenveen in het gelijk. De Friese club had geweigerd de overschrijvingspapieren te tekenen.
