Big clubs buy every years our best strikers/wingers and in the french league the defenders and GK are very good !

That's the reason..true some teams are horrible to watch.Mention to Metz and PSG particularly.

On average French tactics are pretty defensive too. Same goes for Portugal. Imo tactics are the main reason for lack of goals.

I'm surprised with the italian league.Now it is a very offensive league with a lot of goals every weeks.Sure it is due to the quality of the strikers and surely to the tactics too.

no doubt the dutch league is better to watch than the french league but in term of quality i'd say the french league is still a great league.Not so far behind the top leagues imo.

Sacchi changed Italian tactics for the better. In the pre-Sacchi era it was still a lot of catennaccio. Lots of 1-0s, 0-0s. Sacchi showed you can win by playing more attacking.

Indeed, now a whole host of coaches employ offensive tactics such as Pasquale Marino, Spalletti, Mancini and Prandelli.
