you've got to think Eboue's reputation went ahead of him there. Lots of players would have got a yellow for that challenge, but refs know Eboue is a nasty c**t, and even if that wasn't deliberate there's been dozens in the past he got away with that were.

My anger is purely directed at Dirk Shite Biggrin

Lucas is also receiving a bit of it. Both he and alonso lost the ball cheaply for the goals but at least alonso played well

Would you rather draw each other straight away or avoid each other to the final (if we both get that far)?

Fair enough. I can understand the criticism for England, where he has been dog shite for 3 years so nearly all the criticism is justified, but a lot of the criticism regarding the Chelsea performances is pretty unfair.

    Not really

I suppose if you want to judge by goals then fair enough but until roman ditches lampard he will never get the type of football he craves at chelsea. I think we all know this is now fact.

It's a tough call. In terms of progression, I'd rather we played you at the Bridge next round. But imo, a semi-final or Final would be better for the tie itself. I think playing at home would be a huge advantage, as I think that we'd beat you at Stamford Bridge and you'd beat us at Old Trafford. Plus, both teams would be likely to rest players ahead of crucial Premiership/Champions League games. A (semi-)final on neutral territory with both teams fielding their best XI would be great imo.

    What would you prefer?

Wasn't his mistake. It's Ferreira who gets turned by his man and Cudicini who is poorly positioned. You expect Terry to now play RB and CB? FFS, he was playing as LCB so that goal should really have been dealt with by Ben Haim (RCB) , Ferreira (RB) and Cudicini (GK).

In the bleak Norwegian mid-winter, Didier was there to single-handedly rip apart Rosenborg's defence. It was like a one man show. You were lucky that Essien and the Drog weren't back and that Lampard wasn't 100% fit last Sunday. Wink

When you try to play a high line, either someone doesn't step up or you get caught out as Arsenal found out today - I thought Gallas was excellent personally.

Exactly like you say. If it means playing at the Bridge I'd rather wait to we play you at a neutral venue. If we can get you at OT in the next round I'd be happy. No offence to the other teams but I can't see anyone else winning the cup.

There's not even a good side out side the top 4 left like Man City, Spurs or Everton.

I wouldn't put Pompey up there with those 3 (Everton, Citeh and Spurs).

They would have to hope one of us knocked out the other and then beat one of us as well.
