Now Inter need to respond, in a tough away game against the in form Atalanta. This game is live on Channel 5.

    Forza Internazionale!
Team news: Cambiasso is fit, which is great. We missed him greatly in the last 4 games, where Inter only managed 2 points (2 draws and 2 defeats). Just shows how much the team depends on Cambiasso.

Ibra, Suazo and Chivu join Dacourt, Samuel, & Cordoba on the injury list. This season has been plagued by injuries from the start!

Balotelli may get a cameo appearance.

My point was about this goal in particular, not about Serie A's depravity in general. So I guess you admit it was a foul.

What about the Crespo goal just now. It clearly deflected off an Atalanta player before it got to him. Not sure how he was interfering with play on the original shot, so even if Vieira's was a foul that evens it up. Do you disagree?

That is a much harder call to make is it not? But yes, we have to be fair, that was a goal.

EMP--Inter have had many calls for them that haven't evened out. Roma should be ahead by now.

I feel Inter can feel hard done by in the CL (Materazzi's ludicrous sending off), but in Serie A they have enjoyed (not secured) favourable refereeing.

Fair enough, but for Crespo to have been offside that had to be a pass to him which it clearly wasn't. It was a shot that deflected into his path without him interfering on the original shot. Under current rules that was never offside and the officials are paid to see it. Then again Channel Five's commentyators saw it and still got the call wrong.

Roy Hodgson just said he thought Atalanta would have been lucky to get the Vieira goal disallowed. I think he did charge all over the defender, but was focussed on the ball. It could be seen as obstruction as the defender made no attempt to get to the ball either.

IMO thats a load of bull now. It may have been true in Jan, but in the last 8 games its been much more than evened out. Inter have had worse decisions than Roma for sure over the whole season... even the juve fans have shuit up.

11 red cards, many of them harsh. And 3 goals against which were non goals, including the Juve goal by Camoranesi. Teams like Roma and Milan have had it easier from the refs than Inter this season.
