I watched the game because i had cash on it. Mowbray is the same as Brom doesn't have a team that can defend. Aberdeen were denied a clear pen as well. At 2-2 Aberdeen could have went infront 3-4 times. Then at 4-2 Samaras came on and made it 11v 10 to give em a chance and they took it. Last one was from the aftermath of a free kick i think.

Rangers have just beat Celtic 1-0 in a game that was pitifully lacking in any sort of footballing ability. Lots of people running around like headless chicken kicking each other though. Celtic had Brown harshly sent off after Lafferty collapsed in a heap, Bougherra somehow stayed on the pitch despite numerous hacks, and Rangers scored in the final seconds.

Charlie Nicholas was funny at the end..was talking about Lafferty and something like..
"one thing I will say about him is he always has some say in what happens in an old firm game, but it has nothing to do with his ability, because he doesnt have any".
He also pretty much said Celtic didnt go for it and Mowbray wasnt trying to get them to go for it. Cant see him lasting all that much longer if thats how he's playing.

Celtic. Losing 4-0 to St Mirren. Surely Mowbray will be on his way out this season. St Mirren would probably struggle in League One in England.

Celtic
St Mirren would struggle in League 2
And Rangers are out of the cup. The gruesome twosome both lose on the same night, that doesn't happen very often.(edit - first time since the last day of the 2006-7 season)

LRD - with regards to betting, Norwich would be a very good value bet for promotion to the premier league next season.
But if Mowbray gets sacked - the obvious replacement is Lambert.

Thats excellent news for Celtic. He was really the reason for it all, not the poor selection and even the overrated and worthless pile that they inherited in the transfer window.
I used to really like Scottish football, but it's just depressing to watch what has come of this league at this point.

Yeah it's a joke. I think Celtic have some real good players but Mowbray doesn't believe in defence and makes bizarre decisions. He's bought a load of shite mostly and sold experienced leaders forgetting football isnt played on paper.

It was inevitable, he was way out of his depth. Selling 8 players in January and buying a load of numpties was madness. Celtic are going to take a long time to recover from this.

Just till the end of the season though right?
Bit pointless. I guess Celtic can win the Cup and he can take all the credit lol, then they can dispose of all the worthless transfers in the summer, and give Rangers a real run for their money next season with another "celtic-minded" manager.

Why not find the best man for the job, instead of the best Irish Catholic?
it's a similar thing with Newcastle.

To be fair the best man for the job is an Irish Catholic. Not sure they're good enough for Keano's ambitions though.

Cast a similar line on the Forth place thread, alas nothing reeled in except for an old boot (Tweedles). Must be taking a day off

You two pink pirates are so SO lucky that i've decided to read this thread for the first time since it was created.
I will go and take a look at your bait 0trick to see if it is worth nibbling on. Hopefully it does better than the dead maggot that 0pac put in this thread.
Also, placement is everything, if you put your bait in threads like this and the 4th place thread i will rarely see it.

Losing 0-2 now.
I've never been a fan of Scottish football, but it's much more comical than I ever gave it credit for.
