Thats not true, Paloschi has played 9 games for Milan this season. SuperMario has played 8 for Inter. I am including Coppa games and sub appreances for both.Gone wrote:bluenine wrote:SuperMario >> Quack QuackGone wrote:The Duck > Paloschi > Supermario

Paloschi scored 4 goals for Milan, that's one less then Supermario with less games played.

Casiraghi and Zola disagree with you on that one. He is the classic Italian striker mould. I am sure he could walk into the Milan team, but looking at your strikers thats not saying muchGone wrote:bluenine wrote:Thats not true, Paloschi has played 9 games for Milan this season. If you count the min I'm sure SuperMario had more. And Acquafresca is nothing special.

What a totally unimagineative nickname.
Well, Acquafresca is currently the star striker for Italy's national U21... None of the Milan primavera players even make the squad!Gone wrote:bluenine wrote:Casiraghi and Zola disagree with you on that one. He is the classic Italian striker mould. He looks more a Saha then Drogba to me , meaning better technically but wont be the physical giant that Drog is (SahaSupermadrid wrote:Well a gues would be that Balotelli will get more goals and be more effective. i think he could be something like Drogba playing well as both a lone striker and in a two striker system. Pato will defo get all the praise for his style but might not be as effective as Balotelli and will prob need to play in a more offensive team then Balotelli for example. anyway hard to say so early especially since Balotelli hasnt played much else then Copa games.
Balotelli Better Than Pato - Corso
Inter legend Mario Corso has described teenage sensation Mario Balotelli as the best talent he has ever seen, and believes he is better than Milan’s Alexandre Pato. The 17-year-old Balotelli has burst onto the scene this season, and he gave a further example of his incredible potential with a brilliant performance for Inter against Atalanta at the weekend.
"After so many years it is the first time that I have seen such incredible quality,” said Corso, who made over 500 appearances for the Nerazzurri between 1958 and 1973, winning a plethora of honours
“He is good with his head, he is fast, has a good shot, good vision. He takes great set-pieces.
“It is also incredible that in a great team like Inter, there was no one who was able to take a good free kick or corner. Now there is someone.
“I say that the only problems he could find are off the field. If he does not become a great player it will only be his fault.
"Both Pato and Balotelli are very good, but the former has something more.”
Corso, whose nickname was ‘God’s left-foot’, also praised another young Italian talent, Milan’s Alberto Paloschi.
"Balotelli and Pato both have more technical quality than Paloschi,” Corso continued.
“Paloschi resembles Inzaghi - where the goal is, Paloschi is there.”

Good catch. Probably an italian translation error, he obviously meant Balotelli, who he says is the best talent he has ever seen.Calidad wrote:bluenine wrote:The media has caught into this debate, just a day after us

So the title claims Corso say's Pato isn't as good as Balotelli, but goes on to say that "the former has something more". Which of the two is it?
bluenine wrote:Well, I guess this comparison is bound to happen.... its the classic Inter vs Milan, Italy vs Brasil, etc
Who is the bigger talent of the two? Who would you prefer in your team?
THE DUCK Pato, 18 yrs, Played 14 games for Milan this season, scored 7 goals.
SUPERMARIO Balotelli, 17 yrs, Played 8 games for Inter this season, scored 5 goals.
While Pato has just scored on his debut for Brasil, Balotelli will only be eligible to play for Italy U21 in August.

2 of those goals were in the deciding Derby D'Italia against Juve in the Coppa. Thats bigger than most Serie A clashes, the derby d'italia is as competitive as any Italian game can ever get - it does not matter whether its the coppa or serie A!Forza Italia!Forza Milan! wrote:bluenine wrote:Well, I guess this comparison is bound to happen.... its the classic Inter vs Milan, Italy vs Brasil, etc

How many of these are Serie A goals for SuperMario? Like 2?

Are you serious Blunine? have you Arsenal and Walcot this season? you better not let Saints catch you claming this sort of thing. great assist though.
ups i meant to see if you have seen Arsenal and Walcot this season much. not many rate him that much. i thought he created a good goal but i wouldnt want him for my team. i dont think he has the football brain needed to make it. he is fast but that is not enough esp not in italy so im not sure you would want him.bluenine wrote:I don't like Arsenal, never did. But Theo I like. Wouldn't mind seeing him at Inter. Maybe he is a better winger than a striker, but he always injects so much energy into the attacks. A good kid to watch out for.
