we all know how Milan wanted to buy Khedira and he replied "No, No, No"

then Real wanted to have Pander and he said " No, No, No"

Barca want Lahm, Arsenal wanted Kiessling (who is scoring for fun in the UEFA Cup with Bayer) and so it continues

and the LATEST in the hunt of the hottest German talents that have not even caught the eye of the German media yet

apparently, Milan are interested in buying Lell

the right back who has confined Sagnol to the bench

    they are also watching Schweini

meanwhile, Gomez has confirmed that he prefers to stay at Stuttgart for one more year rather than going to Barca now

Oi, don't panic, there's a saying in German: Wenn man keine Ahnung hat, einfach mal Fresse halten, which roughly translates as "Shut up if you don't know anything about a subject".

Hinkel came to Sevilla, believing Dani Alves would move away to Liverpool. That move fell through. A year later, same procedure, just exchange Liverpool for Chelsea. And Hinkel really can't be blamed for failing to dislodge Dani Alves, who people at the time at least labelled 'best rightback in Europe, if not the world'--if you'd followed his progress recently, you'd have found that he (Hinkel) seems to be doing very well for Celtic Glasgow.

He's going to have to have lots of fun against Zenit if he wants to continue in the Uefa cup.

Oh well Otto, it must be very sad for you, and all German football fans, as this interest from the clubs from the big leagues rapes your teams of their best talents.

Still, you'll always be welcome down here in the third divisions of europe, alongside your Portuguese and Dutch brothers.

At least we can still make fun of the Belgians.

What German talent has been bought away ?!

It's all rumour and hearsay FFS !

When the big leagues want a Portuguese or Dutch player they need a bulldozer to fork over the cash, they simply make an offer that can not be refused.

What's the most recent big multi-million transfer of a German player : Matthaeus ? (Ballack and half of Eminem where Bosmannen IIRC)

German talent is like a German sense of humor : we've all heard stories about it.....but no one has actually seen proof it's existance Wink

Here's to Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster and German talent Ale

Hildebrand, Lehmann, Ballack, Metzelder, Odonkor of the current squad all play abroad (even if only two of them are playing much at the moment owing to injuries or whatever else). None of them has any talent anyway, so I don't see why anyone would be interested.

I think I finally get why the other German posters fly off the handle quite easily when they see one of your posts, it feels like you're talking to a wall, so I won't waste any time recapping the last three years or remind you of Hinkel's injury that had him playing in pain for a year and a half or throw in the name 'Giovanni Trapattoni'. Not playing club football didn't help and as explained he was a bit unlucky in Sevilla as he was signed as replacement for then sure to depart Alves. When Alves was surprisingly persuaded to stay he was surplus to requirements. Very few players would have displaced Alves then and it is a testament to his ability that Monchi - hardly a mug in judging talent -thought he was good enough to replace Alves.

Injuries didn't help either. And Celtic may not be great, but they will get European football and he has played well for them at a time when others are under-performing. He may not be a great player, but he is hardly as crappy as you make out. The pillars of civilisation will not come tumbling down if you admit that Germany does produce good players Wink
