Hope Chelsea + Ten Cate fail, plus Liverpool have Kuyt + Babel

It's got sod-all to do with "objective opinion", god knows only an idiot wouldn't acknowledge that the scum have an outstanding team (albeit there are a lot of misconceptions about the way they play) – it's about who's scum and who are the good guys, good versus evil...

Actually that is a subjective opinion, but again never the less....

I think you'll find we are where we are in the Champions League on merit - the league is wholly different kettle of fish...

If we get knocked out then you'll be right (barring awful refereeing) we won't have deserved to win the Champions League.

How is Man United being top of the league and deserving to win it on this basis anything other than objective? How is Liverpool reaching the Semi finals of the Champions League on merit anything but objective?

I mentioned the refereeing not on the assumption that we deserve preferential treatment, but because if we get through and the referee delivers then their is no arguement we deserve to be in the final - again objective.

Sometimes i do wonder of the calibre of individual on this board...

Ive put £100 on Liverpool winning by two or more goals tonight. The odds were just too good to pass up. This is my pocket money for the next two weeks so Pool better win or Im fucked.

So my thinking that Man U deserve their success in the league is subjective whereas you thinking that they deserve to win the league is objective. Similarly my thinking Liverpool don't deserve to be in the CL semis is subjective but your opinion that they do is objective.

So are we expecting a fast start from Liverpool as that is one of their strategies go at opponent hard early but this is the first leg so Rafa would be more cautious then usual at Anfield I think.

I've never met anyone who admitted losing money to the bookies. It's wonderful the way they operate as a charity. Perhaps they get a government grant
