The ref has been picking up all those niggling fouls which players shouldn't get away with but do. Apart from missing the foul on Kuyt he hasn't been at all bad. In fact he gave Chelsea a chance by keeping the Liverpool players off their backs.

What a way to lose a game.

One question. Where the f@ck did 4 minutes come from? Aurelio injury, Drogba faux injury, 4 subs, no goals, that never should have been 4 minutes.

In all honesty, unlucky Liverpool. We were awful for the first 65 minutes and didn't deserve anything tonight imo.

But for a couple of top class saves from Cech, it would've been a lot worse.

None of the big names turned up tonight. For us Lampard, Ballack, Joe Cole were all awful, Drogba was OK without being spectacular. And for Pool I thought Gerrard and Torres were awful too.

What a world class cross from Kalou though. Unfortunate for Riise, but the cross was sublime. Without doing much, he really changed the game for us because we started to play some football.

Pace is such a key thing in today's football and none of our midfielders (Essien aside) have any real pace, so we often get overrun when they're not on the top of their game.

The Anelka change needed to be much earlier. Malouda was dreadful. Avram Grant got lucky.

By the looks of Aurelio, he's going to have to start at the Bridge, pity too, he had a decent game before that.

Kuyt's like a rash. He niggles and niggles. He won a couple of balls he had no right to win. Must have had one of his best games for Liverpool.

Kalou is the player you need v a parked bus, he's so freaking unpredictable, doesn't even know himself what he's going to do. Expect a lot from him next season.
