1-1 just now. Cuellar sent off for handling a ball that was heading towards the back of the net.

    McGregor saved the penalty.

Cuellar was correct, assuming the score remains the same, to get sent off.

Nakamura's first ever goal against Rangers was special.

The amount of swerve Nakamura got hitting across the ball was impressive. I only watched up until the penalty but Celtic really should be winning this. Rangers haven't done much, and their goal came after a very scrappy spell of play. Celtic only have themselves to blame though at the moment, they've had the chances.

Oh, well, well done Celtic. Did Cuellar's dismissal have a bearing on the outcome of the match.

Cuellar marked JVoH out of the game before he was sent off.

McManus hit Novo, I think. Ferguson squared up to him.

Ferguson and McManus are well acquainted off the pitch too. I watched them giving their views on the Old Firm game together.

Irrespective of the goal he scored tonight, JVoH is utter pish.

No wonder Samaras stated this week that he'll only stay in Scotland if he is Celtic's 1st choice striker. Playing second fiddle to JVoH is embarrassing.

The Celtic players behaved disgracefully at the final whistle. The Rangers players will be fired up now for the next Old Firm game in two weeks.

    Absolutely right.

They are bad losers and even worse winners. Have heard some horror stories about last night from Rangers fans making their way home from the game. But it's what we've come to expect from 'TGFITW' let's be honest.

Rangers were very poor in the first half last night and were probably fortunate to go in at the break only a goal down. However, with Novo coming on the game changed in Rangers favour and after we scored I honestly felt as though we would go on to win the match. Celtic were rattled and Rangers seemed to passing the ball around a bit better and I thought we were going to get a 2nd goal sooner or later.

Then with big Carlos being red carded the game obviously turned again but Rangers seemed to be holding on well and to lose the game in 94th minute (fuckin typical with these bastards Evil or Very Mad ) it really was a hard one to take.

The fracas at the end was nothing more than handbags but was instigated by a scumtic player raising his hands to Barry Ferguson. Seems as though it's not only the scumtic fans that are bad winners.

God do I hate that club. Shocked

Gio was a fantastic player for Rangers. I watched a game from the 1999/2000 season the other night and Rangers were fantastic.

Advocaat had them playing lovely football - and even the pitch, with its square-cut sections, was beautiful. Actually, Adovcaat probably assembled the most technically proficient midfield in SPL history.

JVoH has been bad since his first day in the SPL. I had high hopes that he'd be a good addition to the SPL, but he's been very, very poor.

I'd have these SPL strikers over him

Cousin (my favourite striker in the SPL)

Darcheville (but never last 90 minutes. Indeed, he's never played a full game, as I understand it)

Boyd (lazy and doesn't contribute anything other than goals. But goals are what counts. If he didn't score, however, I'd take JVoH over him)

    Samaras (love his technique)

    Riordan (ned)

McDonald (dodgy attitude but good first season with Celtic)

Velicka (when he was in the SPL)

Steven Fletcher (easily better than big ears)

    There's probably more I can't remember.

ps McDonald should never have taken that penalty last night. Nakamura was ready to strike it but Caldwell and Hartley gave the ball to McDonald. He looked like he shat himself before the penalty.

Robson should have taken the penalty. McDonald opened up his body too much and gave McGregor the hint of which way to dive.

Nacho Novo who is technically a very poor footballer he seems to have the knack of scoring important goals this season.

Well so we keep hearing but he had that £15 million rated McGeadinho in his back pocket for the majority of the second half last night and he can be very dangerous when taking players on not only with his ability to beat a man but also with his blinding pace.

He's doing alright for a technically very poor footballer, isn't he?

I agree. Robson should have taken the penalty. Robson is actually excelling in the role that Scott Brown was supposed to fulfil.

Brown just darts round the pitch without much of a clue as to what he's trying to accomplish. At least Robson contributes something worthwhile to Celtic's team.

I also agree about Nacho Novo. Although his goal was very well taken yesterday - and let's not forget his fabulous goal against Livorno, too - he lacks composure at crucial moments.

Nevertheless, I think Novo is an effective player for Rangers despite his technical deficiencies.

His attitude disgusts me, however. In the same manner that Boruc attempts to antagonise and heighten tensions, Novo does the same from time to time. Any player who attempts to court confrontation should be sacked. His challenges are also shocking and show that he has little regard for the wellbeing of his fellow professionals.

I agree Fake Genius he does do well by making the most of the lmited ability that he has. I think he is best used as an impact player like last night. What do you make of Darcheville's plea for a 5 year contract considering he has yet to complete a full 90 mins yet ?

McGeady is overhyped, has only played well for half the season yet because of Naismith hardly playing and Fletcher being injured for a part of the season, McGeady wind the young player of the year award.

I'm actually a big fan of JCD (as you have probably guessed by my avatar) and would like to see him stick around Ibrox for a while. However, it is a little bit cheeky asking for a 5 year contract given as you say he can't seem to play a full 90 minutes.

Novo is a great player coming off the bench as you have said. I do agree that he is a bit of a hot head but he gets a fair bit of stick from the hooped hordes and to my knowledge does not try to wind up the opposition support in the same way Borat does.

In actual fact Novo only seems to react to the dims whereas Borat is at it in almost every ground in Scotland.

JCD has been playing well for Rangers. McCoist described him as the strongest player he's played with or against. And he works hard, too.

That photo showed how overweight he was pre-season. It's in here somewhere. I remember some posters didn't believe it wasn't photoshopped given how big JCD actually was in it. But it was taken straight from Getty images.

I remember a story about Novo stealing the girlfriend on his teammate - a teammate who had allowed Novo to share his home with him while Novo went through financial difficulties.

    I detest Novo.

A FORMER footballer yesterday blamed his ex-lover's affair with Rangers striker Nacho Novo for landing him in court.

Ross Matheson was convicted of breach of the peace after threatening ...

Apparently he was sleeping with her under his friend's roof. She's clearly a scumbag too.
