Ballack won the penalty that effectively sent Chelsea to the Final he was also sporting a good beard unlike Rafa ..

So who is going to win then?

Chelsea have played some great football under Grant lately, especially in the last two huge matches. From the neutral fan perspective, it's very good to see that they got rewarded for attacking their opponent, although a 0-0 would have been enough to see them through, instead of percentage football.

This squad has so much quality and potential, it's a crime not to play football like that with it. Good that Grant seems to agree.

Hopefully it will be 0-0 after extra time and both teams keep scoring penalties until: the crowd gets fed up and leaves, Fergie runs out of gum and has to resort to the stuff stuck under his seat, all the players collapse due to exhaustion and only the insomniac Grant is left conscious. UEFA then decide to award it to the semi-finalists who managed to score most goals.

So basically this match will decide who gets to apply for exemption from the FA Cup next season, worry about their squad not being big enough despite having 25 players, moan about fixture congestion, and then have the convenient excuse of the inevitable injuries and fatigue that always seem to result in modern day football after a team has won the CL.

Ballack has looked pretty good in the recent matches I have seen. I think Bayern Munich could have done with him tonight Wasn't Otto saying that Bayern were the only great side in Europe the other day when CotR was claiming there aren't any.

We'll accept CSKA being Moscow's no.1 for now, but if we win the CL.

I t would be unbearable espically if United won did the double

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has blasted Chelsea and Manchester United for not resting players ahead of their second leg Champions League semi-finals.

The Spaniard is furious that both clubs played their first teams in the encounter at Stamford Bridge.

“It’s unfair”

Whoever plays the most british players deserves to win the CL cup. Bias maybe, this has more meaning and pay off down the road for development in the UK than the english club brand names in the final... The match up with Ronaldo and Ashley Cole who seems to be playing up to his 2002-2004 form could be interesting, I think the man U winger has grown up and will not waste to much time trying to beat Cole. If he does expect Rooney and Tevez to outshine him.
