As a Hibbie, I'm still a little unsure over Riordan. He's a talent, but at 23, he needs to start showing some consistency, and he's also still too lightweight. He has scored 20 goals a season for the last 3 seasons which would suggest he's consistent, but he still goes missing at times. He's a player low on confidence as well. Used to love running at players, he wasn't doing that towards of the end of his time at Hibs, and hasn't been doing it for Celtic either (on the rare occaison he does play)

Celtic was definitely a bad move. Obviously went for the bigger wage, but he's not even making the sqaud at the moment. He's a striker, but the odd time he has played for Celtic, they've played him LM...He's done his Intl career no favours.

Wales only have two, maybe three players who would get in the Scotland team now. Bellamy, Giggs and perhaps Gabbindon. If you watched Scotland under Vogts and Scotland under Smith there's a world of difference.

They've started to win comfortably home and away against the likes of Norway and Slovenia again which is what you need to do to have any hope of qualifying for tournaments.

Well they're not actually British in any way any more.

I'd possibly put them 2nd (after England), even if they havent been playing very well recently. Given, Duff, Keane all decent players.

republic of ireland or northern ireland...

republic of ireland very good team.. u will struggle to beat them at home after needing a total fluke to beat them yesterday Smile...

northern ireland.. decent small country.. can cause upsets but the worst of the countries in britain and ireland

Duff has been relatively average for about a year now - lackof confidence thanks to Chelsea - was an awesome player a few years ago though

i was referring to the goal deisler.... was it or was it not a total fluke...

germany played very well.. in fact both teams did... was a great game... germany deserved to win but they won by a fluke Smile.. this is surely beyond debate???

BTW lahm wasn't great... get him back to left back.. duff was the only player causing u any real problems i thought...

poldolski and shweinstager very very good... as were frings and klose to a lesser extent... ballack non existent
