This guy is worse than Owen and Trezeguet in terms of doing nothing to help the team when he isnt scoring. Klose and Gomez is an awful combination, lazy bastard Toni wannabes.

Needless to say, Gomez has disappointed. That said, I think he is a fantastic talent (granted I have seen very little), but in Germany's most recent friendly (incidentally against Austria) he took his two goals expertly, as he has appeared to do through much of the season. He's had a poor tournament, but $h!t happens. I think if he had got an early goal, things would have been very different, but alas his confidence has been shattered and he does need to be dropped. Nothing has gone right for him, his passing, shots, control, decision making - it is purely a confidence issue
Never know, perhaps he'll come on as a sub and get the winner against Portugal, turning his tournament around

I doubt it
apparently, Bayern have already offered about 30 million Euro for the lad
the boy has two sensational Bundesliga seasons under his belt and is still a kid; he does not need to impress now
besides, he would be more than happy to stay at Stuttgart for one more season
there is no rush for him to go anywhere

fyi, I seen gomez in a few live games this season, and before the tournament most recently in the germany-austria game. he impressed me in those, and is why I think he looks a talent. why does that bother you so much?
if you don't agree, say so, and at least present some sort of an argument. if not, just f@ck off you weirdo. you're boring

25 minutes played against Cluj in the CL and Gomez has already scored TWICE
now that Klose, Olic, Robbery are out injured
and Müller is rested by van Gaal because of mental fatigue,
the Nederlander HAS to play the only striker left
GOMEZ
the one man he wanted Bayern to SELL in the summer and whom he has NEVER rated in the first place
(driving Hoeness absolutely INSANE in the process)
just like his FELLOW Dutchies, axel, fey....
goes to show how much Nederlanders KNOW about STRIKERS

You're right about Bale, I hope he will one day match the achievements of stellar talents like Holtby and Gotze. Until then, it would be WRONG of anyone to hype the poor boy up.
Meanwhile, there isn't enough money in Fort Knox to match the value of Super Mario - it's a straight battle between him and Crouch for the best striker in the solar system. Think about it Otto

comparing Gomez with Crouch is like comparing Jimmy the Tulip with Mo the Tub
comparing Götze with Bale is like comparing German Beer with Hungarian Goulasch
in an ideal world these should complement each other
bernd, we can no longer afford to think in terms of "either-ors"
the world has become too complex for that
I have a VISION, bernd
and I know this sounds BOLD, my fine Hungarian pear
but you need to be strong now
why can we NOT live in PEACE
together
LIVING THE SAME DREAM
this is what I propose
Bale moves to Dortmund so that Götze and he can become THE DREAM COMBO of world football
in exchange
Dortmund send Spurs the BENDER
and tweeds, will soon become a Jew

Never EVER in the history of German football, which we all know is the best at everything anyway, has a club won it's opening four matches in the CL.
NEVER EVER !
Now Van Gaal has done it with an injury struck Bayern
This makes Van Gaal OFFICIALLY the best manager the Bundesliga has EVER had

That end of Otto's post was a genuine
Tommy, I don't think you're quite getting Otto's humour here
Bernd, is it true that John Fashanu hactually won Sports Personality of ze Year in the early '90s (in terms of votes) but the BBC hushed this up and gave it to someone else?

The 1st was an open goal, and Gomez so nearly missed it.
He'll NEVER be an Inzaghi, that's for sure.
