Surely Grant will realise the only sensible course of action will see Ballack lifting the cup!

Wigan should have had a pen - it was a pen by Boyce on Rooney mind but that never happens if he gives the 1st one.

Yo Pierre! why do refs like Bennett want the Mancs to win no matter what? I'm not surprised at all watching what's going on. Neither are the bookies (Mancs were 1.15 favorites), and Robbo was expecting this as well. Biggrin

So, why Pierre? you're one of the guys here with a "clearer" perspective of things in football. Why is there this "apparent" Manc bias. What Bennett has done today (let alone that Liverpool match) is a disgrace. What is the reasoning behind this acts of corruption? <Ale>

How many Man Utd games has Bennett refereed this season? Is it enough to make him eligible for a winner's medal?

Wigan penalty is the only fair way for them to draw, the ensuing spectacle of hypocrisy from Ferguson would be brilliant.

Yes, I thought Bramble was very fortunate there - he went through Scholes before getting anything on the ball, and Man Utd probably should have had a penalty. Like Puro says, all very cunningly done.
