    Ok, thanks

Rumors are also talking about Ayala and Aimar

Although those are porbably player 120, and 121 that the Portuguese press has "bought" to Benfica in the last 6 weeks

Hatem Ben Arfa to Marseille. They have agreed a few, all that is needed is for the player to pass his medical.

Maybe they want this to go through first, then allow Nasri to join us.

Aimar would be awesome for you guys or any team. a favourite of mine. allthough i think he has said he will stay in Zaragoza to try and get them up. but if he has to go i hope he plays in a club like Benfica where he can shine on a big stage.

    Great signing for us.

kas, Dica has done his job for Steaua and Becali let him leave cheaper. Also Zenga is the coach at Catania and Dica was his favorite player when he was at Steaua.

Olé, Unirea Urziceni was the revelation of last year Liga 1. They are a very small team that made it in the UEFA Cup. They played the Cup final against CFR Cluj and finished 5th (after CFR and the 3 big teams from Bucharest) in the league but with the same number of points as Rapid (3rd place). One of the main reasons for that was Bogdan Stancu. He also plays for the U21 NT and scored in first game (a friendly) for Steaua. Very Happy So I expect a lot from him.

It's not quite transfer news, but apparently Kluivert has joined AZ Alkmaar as a coach. It sounds as though it's part of his coaching training, and that he's still considering continuing his playing career if an offer comes along. But at the moment, he is with van Gaal at Alkmaar.

He's been almost constantly injured the whole time he's been here, but did have the odd good game when he was fit.

He probably would, haven’t heard anything. Still there must be other options; Blind did say looking for a defender to replace Heitinga would be fundamental.

Chelsea have ended their interest in Andrei Arshavin, according to the Russian's agent.

Roman Abramovich was thought to be keen to bring the Zenit St Petersburg playmaker to Stamford Bridge after some impressive performances in the UEFA Cup and Euro 2008.

However Dennis Lachter, Arshavin's agent, believes this is no longer the case.

"I do not believe that after this acquisition of Deco the club have retained their interest in Arshavin," said Lachter told Russian paper Sovetsky Sport.

"Zenit want to get at least €30 million (£23.8 million), and foreign clubs offer no more than €20 million (£15.8 million).

"The situation is not at an impasse though. The transfer period only ends on August 31 and clubs are only just beginning to be proactive in the transfer market."

Lachter went on to claim Arshavin's next move could hinge on assorted other transfer sagas progressing across Europe:

"Several potential buyers are involved as clubs sell their players. Arshavin's future may be dependent on conversations about [Alexander] Hleb, [Emmanuel] Adebayor, Cristiano Ronaldo and others."

FC Groningen have completed the signing of Sweden defender Andreas Granqvist on a four-year deal from Wigan.
The 23-year-old, a member of Sweden's Euro 2008 squad, failed to
establish himself at the Premier League outfit after joining last
    summer.
Groningen's technical director Henk Veldmate hailed the
signing, telling the club's official website: "Granqvist is a real
central defender - big, strong and he is good in the air."
Director Hans Nijland added at the player's presentation: "The
negotiations have taken some time. There was a lot of interest in him.
He is a young player and also an international. Five minutes before
this presentation the deal was sealed."
Granqvist revealed he had consulted two of Groningen's Swedish contingent before joining the club.
He said: "I am glad to sign my contract at FC Groningen. I have
spoken with my countrymen Frederik Stenman and Marcus Berg and I got a
    good impression of the club.
"Also the talks with coach Ron Jans made me enthusiastic. It
was an easy choice. I consider FC Groningen to be the club where I can
    develop further.
"I didn't play much at Wigan Athletic and for me it was important to chose a club that suited me football-wise.
"I am a player who likes to build the play up, rather than going
for the long pass. I am still young and I want to improve. I believe
Groningen is the club that will allow me to do that.
