Take out Schweinsteiger, put Rooney and make it a 4-3-3. Hargreaves may have a chance to get in the team but then we'd wonder where his loyalties lie, so better leave him out to be safe Wink

Also, Fergie partnering Vidic at the back may not work. Ferdinand would be better Wink

You are having a joke Kroos. Deluded

The top clubs in the World are better than the top international sides - more time to play together, play more regularly, against tougher opposition, no restraints on who can and cant play,

you live in a dream World if you dont see this. Although not fully unexpected, proved that point enough times

In a match between the two it would be interesting. If Germany win euro 2008 then it should be arranged since we don't have any germans.

I'd rather have Gomez over Rooney/Tevez tbh. He's a much better goal scorer, and reasonably creative too.

Want aware scoring goals was an issue for United.

Havent Rooney/Tevez and Ronaldo scored a combined total of 78 goals or something this season?

Bring in Gomez and he might individually get more goals for himself, but then you can knock off about 20 goals for Ronaldo which he can attribute to the unselfish work that Rooney and Tevez do for the team in attack, and defence.

Infact, replace Rooney and Tevez and you could probably add on a few more goals conceded, since there is no doubting that as a team that collectively defends when needed, this is one of their strengths.

This argument is pointless anyway - United would beat Germany. No international side can be expected to match a club side which has played so regularly together under a familiar system and one that has won the CL (far more difficult opposition than anything in international football)

No way in the name of Jesus Christ our saviour will the pig climber get into the Manchester United first XI, not disputing his ability he will be one of Germany's key player at the Euros and a good player for Bayern, but the style of play for Manchester United today he wouldn't be suited. As I've said Ballack and Lahm would get into the team, Ballack probably ahead of one of Hargreaves or Carrick preferably Owen H Wink

This comparison is just stupid. Football doesn't work like that, it's a team game. A player who might excel in one team / system doesn't necessarily do well in another, so saying that player x would make the team instead of player y is just plain nonsense. When will you guys ever understand this?

Have I said I hate these comparisons? I wish you'd get a cactus up your butt for every x >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> y comparisons!

    Yea Blut is right.

Rooney looks average for England, while Carrick doesn't even make the squad. Tevez also seems a little lost in the national side.

Poldolski rarely plays/impresses for Bayern, but does well when called upon for Germany. Lucio to a lesser extent (in terms of club performance) is another. Plays ok for Bayern, but very well for the national side.
