Re: Ticket prices up again
argh. it gets worse.
especially crazy that Blackburn and Wigan are amongst the highest risers, given that they are two of the teams who get lowest % capacity each week.
they're just going to drive more people away.

Re: Ticket prices up again
Wigan and Blackburn both cut season ticket prices last summer on the back of the new TV deal, a year later they raise prices by an amount which removes the affect of last years reductions. Dispicable behaviour.
Honest English chairman catering for the predicament of the fans, while the evil foreign chairman are asset stripping the clubs to death. Chelsea's remain unchanged while Man City and West Ham rise at the third and fourth lowest respectfully. Steve Gibson once again is the top English outright chairman.

Re: Ticket prices up again
I was rather annoyed that they put our ticket prices up, but clearly others have it worse this year. I guess Spurs get a lot of excitement, but a 10.7% rise after finishing in the bottom half of the table is excessive considering they pay a fortune anyway.

An Arsenal fan criticising another club's pricing policy.
I have truly seen it all.

You don't think a 10.7% rise is excessive for a team that finished in 11th place considering they have the second or third highest prices already?
I don't see how my saying so as an Arsenal fan affects the point.

I think the prices are excessive to begin with, so the rises make bugger all difference.
I don't see how my saying so as an Arsenal fan affects the point.
Because Arsenal have been overcharging for their tickets (to pay for the stadium debt) for ages, and haven't won anything for three years. So it's massively hypocritical of anyone involved in the club to criticise another club's pricing policy. Particularly on the basis of their relative success or failure of late (since Spurs have been, this season at least, more successful than Arsenal).

Yes Frank, I'm well aware that people are entitled to their opinions, however ill informed and hypocritical they may be. Nowhere have I told SG he's wrong or that he isn't allowed to think that or any such similar thing.
Which begs the question - why have you (yet again) barged in on an exchange? Why do you give a f@ck what me and SG say to one another? Why try to take some moral high ground that is irrelevant to the conversation so far?
Could it possibly be because you're an arrogant C0ck who desperately wants to be listened to but has nothing to say?
Think about it.

Re: Ticket prices up again
I think Arsenal overcharge as well, far too much. I'm happy to say that, it's an obvious and irrefutable point (well almost, that they have no problem selling out the stadium suggests that it isn't too excessive yet from an economic perspective). I don't see why paying such high prices at Arsenal suddenly rules me out from commenting on other teams.
It's curious how for me to say that this rise is excessive is ridiculous, yet for my Spurs supporting friends to say it presumably isn't? Are they allowed to make comments about Arsenal prices considering they themselves pay high prices, and over the last ten years when prices have risen most sharply we probably have had greater value for money than them? If I was to criticise Spurs whilst maintaining that our prices are acceptable I can accept that as hypocritical, but when I'm happy to criticise my club just as much I fail to see the hypocrisy.

Your prices are higher. You are, as of this season, a less successful club.
If you can't see the hypocrisy, I ain't explaining it to you.

Re: Ticket prices up again
Well I dont like this push-strategy!
I mean he wants me to force to go that site and buy his stuff, well son! A good product will sell itself, let me tell you that!!
If he just said: Guys if you are interested in Shoes and other stolen fake ware, look at this website
:chins:
He would have got a much better reply, but because he failed to do any field or desk research he doesnt know anything about us, his potential prospects, and that is something he should think about. He has to remember that customer is king.
